A Good Filter
Got this for my cabin with well water. Our well does have some iron and some sediment. This does a good job cleaning and making the water taste fine. was a bit tricky installing it but happy with the set up.

Arrived with broken parts twice
This product arrived with a damaged box and damaged fittings so it was returned. The second time it arrived in the same damaged box and the light for the filter is broken. The installation is difficult and the fitting on the filter housing leaks.

Leaked
I bought this and it leaked from the factory fittings. I then removed everything and used Teflon tape to seal the threads on the 2 leaky fittings. This did not work and my client is very unhappy with me now.

A nice water filter for cabin with high sediment load. Now negative for coliforms!
I have a well at my cabin. the water has a high organic sediment load. I had used the water just for washing and not drinking. I put a 40 micron spin down filter directly after the pressure tank and a 20 micron pleated filter right after that. Water was cleaner but not potable. Incoming water tested positive for coliforms as expected. Pressure was fine. . I installed this under the sink. Came with all the hook ups. Nice faucet. Stage 1 is 5 micron, then through the UV chamber to sterilize, then through the 0.5 micron carbon block. Great system!!! I did have minor leaks at the assembled part where uv chamber is ( I tefloned these connectors and fixed the leaks). Tested negative for coliforms and very clean pure great tasting water!!!! Note: TDS rose from 11 to 25 from passing through carbon block. Newer carbon blocks will shed minerals initially. People seem to think that any TDS is bad. Not always true. 7-20 update ; in late June I retested the water for coliform bacteria and again negative.9-20 update. I retested the water for coliforms and again negative almost 5 months after install. 12-23 update. This is a great filter for years at this point. I tested twice this year for coliforms and it was again negative. Nice clean water!

The Uv lamp glass was in pieces. Zero stars is more fitting.
