Old Ballantruan The Unchillfiltered Peated Malt 70 cl

A lovely whiskey, slightly peaty on the nose but the alcohol takes away any heaviness from the taste. As with whiskys that are not filtered, the natural oils cling to the glass.A couple of drops of water opens up the flavour of this making it sweeter.It's a must try!

unusual to get this much peat and smoke in a nonislay malt consequently flavourful and one of my favourites.

Bought for my husband - he says it’s one of his fav mid range whiskys - loves the peatiness of it.
