A great smart alarm clock
I love all of the features on this clock. The only thing that I didn't like was that the instructions booklet wasn't really helpful and I had to download the Beddi 2 app on my phone to figure out how to get it set up. After that I've had no problems.

Trouble connecting to cell phone
The smart clock is easy to use via the phone app. However the app has a difficult time connecting to my Galaxy note 9, randomly disconnected, some strange Bluetooth problems on day one. The phone holding area will not fit with my phone case on, wish it was abit longer. Overall, this product is a beautifully designed, speakers are high quality. I would recommend this for any of my friend an family looking to upgrade their alarm clock.

Great concept, flawed implementation, poor support
I have both a BEDDI1 and a BEDDI2. I got the 1 when it was a new product. Really liked the concept, but the software kept having issues. The worst (for me) was that playing white noise with a sleep timer did not work correctly. I wanted the white noise and mood light to run for 60 minutes. The mood light did run that duration, but the white noise refused to play for more than 30 minutes. Wtti support said the Android app that played the noise was crashing. But they were never able to correct the problem. Then The BEDDI2 came out. The big feature improvement for me was that the phone was no longer involved in playing the white noise. That fixed the above issue. But all is not right with the BEDDI2 either! I cannot set the sound level for the white noise and expect it to stay set. A volume of "3" is what works best for me. I can set the volume to 3 and it will stay there through the sleep timer period. But next time I start the white noise the volume has reverted to "14" which is painfully loud.So far I have not been able to communicate this issue properly to the support staff. I get strange replies to my reports which indicate to me that they just do not understand the above complaint. To make matters worse, I am not able to access their support site. Apparently I am not remembering my password correctly, but the password reset mechanizm does nothing. In summery, good idea, poor execution.updated: it has been 6 months!Downgraded to one star (which is the lowest allowed.) I finally got the support staff to understand the issue. They said the firmware needed a fix. So far, no fix in site. I figure that if the company cannot address their bugs in six months (or longer if you go back to the BEDDI1 issues) there is no hope. So I have mothballed both my Beddi devices and replaced them with Echo Shows. The Echo show does not have the mood lighting (well, maybe it does, I have not done an exhaustive search.) In every other feature it excels the BEDDI. I can create a play list of Amazon Music white noises and have the Show randomly play then and shut off after an hour. It remembers the volume! There are lots of other things that the Show can do that the BEDDI does not even contemplate.

Best way to wake up
I owned version 1 and loved it. This is definitely better than the original. Blutooth connectivity is a big improvement. The other features are mostly the same as the original. Speaker does seem slightly better, and display is very easy to read compared to original. Display also sets to brightness level programmed on wakeup which is neat.

Very Disapointing
I was excited when I found this and really wanted to love it but sadly it is very disappointing. It is arguably the most expensive alarm clock on Amazon and has been nothing but a problem for me.What I was excited about was the ability to have multiple alarms, not just weekday and weekend and the snooze capability/bar. And while both of those features work the other problems with this are very problematic.1. The brightness of the clock display can be adjusted to a level that is personal but every-time an alarm goes off it reverts back to 100%. This is annoying as I wanted to set my alarms and forget it but now I have to adjust the brightness every night. (annoying but not a deal breaker). Their support line says that this is not supposed to happen and that they are working on a solution but I am not holding my breath.2. WEMO connectivity does not work. I had a hard time getting this to connect to WEMO in the first place. An app update was pushed through on 9/20/18 that made this supposedly better but it still does not work. Again not a deal breaker as this was not a large selling point for me but would have been nice if it worked.3. Finally the biggest issue I had was something I thought was impossible. I had read some reviews where people said it played music for no reasons but I felt that perhaps user error contributed to this. Then at 1am in the morning for no reason whatsoever the radio turned on and started playing in my ear. Any alarm clock that randomly turns on for no apparent reason cannot be trusted to turn on when it is supposed to.I knew that this was a product born of a Kickstarter campaign but I was hopeful that they had worked out the kinks. Alas they have not and for over $100 it is not worth the headaches. Returning item
