Lenox 146504230 Holiday All-Purpose Bowl, Christmas Dinnerware

Item as promised. Typical good Lenox quality.

This is a small little dish for candy or maybe dip, something like that. It is very pretty and looks beautiful on the Christmas buffet.

Lovely size, color, quality China, functional shape. Great for small dishes, and matches my Lenox Christmas China.

Beautiful Festive Christmas Bowls with the Elegant Lenox Look!!!

First, and most important, Lenox stuff always has it's own box. Keeps items safe and great for off season storage. I ordered the general purpose bowl and the large bowl. Also several other items, all came in one box. The large bowl was in it's Lenox box, all nice and secure. The general purpose bowl, which is about the size of a breakfast cereal bowl, for comparison, was not in a box, it had some cheesy pink bubble wrap, the small kind, no box, stuffed on it's side. How it made it without being broken I don't know. The question is did someone remove it from it's Lenox box to be able to use a smaller shipping box, or what??? Granted, the bowl is not broken, but now I don't have the storage box for it.

This item is advertised as made in the USA. I was excited and deliberated for many weeks whether to purchase and finally bit the bullet wanting to have something special for Christmas. We purchased a whole set of dinnerware and wanted to add this item and other pieces of the design to complement and build our collection for this year is a special one for us. When we opened the dinner settings, imagine my sheer disappointment, surprise, and anger to find that NOTHING either in the box or outside said made in the USA. There was, however a sticker on the box with the barcode which clearly stated “Made in Indonesia” another item similarly labelled “Made in China”. Nothing against items as with most products today being made in China etc. but for the price we paid including the large shipping cost, this was NOT what we were expecting. The products are clearly advertised as being “Made in the USA”. They are NOT! On every cup and item were attached stickers stating “Made in Indonesia” or “Made in China”! I wanted to check with the company to find out more as I really hoped to be able to keep them and was told a pack of lies - “we source the materials in Indonesia/China and manufacture the products in the USA”. I questioned further as to why it didn’t say Made in the US as advertised and the same line was spun over again with subtle manipulation here and there. I would not recommend to buy this product, it is being marketed and branded on a company name that has been sold and resold, outsourced and rebranded to bear the name only. Today all boxes were returned, one by DHL pickup, the others we had to personally bring to a DHL drop off point! Needless to say, I will never again buy anything branded “Lenox”.

We had 5 of these bowls and needed additional 7. Well packaged, quick delivery, good price. What more do you need.
