SubzeroTwist-lock Snowbrush 42"

I like that it doesn’t have a rotating brush like others for sale, but the locking mechanism does let loose sometimes causing the brush to turn, requiring me to lock it back into place before proceeding. Typically happens with heavy snow.

This scraper/snowbrush checks all the boxes. * when collapsed, small enough to fit in backseat area * when extended, long enough and sturdy enough to clear beyond centerline of the truck. * when in storage both blade edge and bristles are in a parallel plane to each other. What I mean is when not being used the entire brush rests flat on the shelf/floor/carseat. This means neither the bristles nor the car seat is damaged during non-use/storage. (I won't own brushes which when in storage either bow the bristles or have the scraper blade resting on a point poking holes in stuff) * quality material and build that should last multiple years.My prior brush from this same manufacture lasted about 5 years.The new version makes the telescope lock/unlock by a mere 1/4 turn.The good news is: * the 1/4 turn design is so easy my grandma as the strength to do it . * the 1/4 turn design is enough to hold the ice scraper secure during scraping.The bad news is: * the brush is now really only totally secure for pushing snow in one direction. When pushing snow in the other direction the force is backing off the 1/4 turn holding it in place. The "solution" is to simply always push snow in the locked direction.I gotta say I do not understand how some people use a snow brush.Who in their right mind uses an ice scraper on their car's paint job? YIKES!When it comes to snow on my vehicle's painted surfaceI either do nothing or I use the brush side and hover the bristles off the paint as I push snow.My goal is to get 90% of the snow off the vehicle paint not 100%.What little snow remains is blown off within seconds of being in motion.Snow on the windshield is another story for that I put bristles directly on glass and try to get everything off.All in all, I'm happy with this snowbrush and hope this purchase also lasts 5 years.

It’s a good scraper. Nice that it extends. Can be annoying sometimes though if you have to brush a lot of snow off your car because the brush end twists and screws up. But other than that it’s a good product.

Got this snow brush when my last brush broke in the great 2010 DC snow storm. Although it understandably did not arrive in time to help with that storm we did have a dusting a few weeks latter where it proved to be just as efficient as its predecessor. Its light weight, but can give you reach when you need it thanks to its telescoping arm. Worked very well at sweeping off the snow and chiseling off the ice from my back window and lights (always remember to clean your lights of snow and ice too!). Its size makes easy to store in my trunk and yellow color make it easy to see and grab when I need it. Overall a great product at a good price.

Just what I wanted. Adjustable so I'm able to reach the roof of my SUV.

I recently used this product to scrape the sleet off my windshield and then used the snow brush to clear the window from what I scraped off the windshield. I enjoyed being able to clean most of the window with the length the telescopic feature provided from one side of the windshield, and then being able to walk around the vehicle to complete the rest of job was real handy. This product seems to be built solid when used at the extended length, and the handle has a comfortable grip with the product in use with gloves on, while you work to clear your windshield or any window that's covered with ice or snow.

Works great, fits in my car, brushed and scraped ice great. My only beef with it is that the brush sometimes turns when I'm trying to get snow off of the car. That is kind of annoying.

Received a Refund... KNOCK OFF!!! I don't have the black piece on the yellow arm just before the brush near that shiny sticker, nor do I have the authenticity sticker! Looks far cheaper than what I bought, basically a couple cheap PVC pipe stuck in one another. It's also a disgusting lime green color, which I wasn't expecting. I assumed I was getting the main image.On the good side of things, Amazon gave me an immediate refund when I called. I was very upset, because it's a lot of money to spend on a cheap knockoff you assume is authentic until you notice the differences in the picture.

As advertised, size is great for reaching the top of the car.
