I got married in them, they looked great and were super comfortable.

I wear a tuxedo a couple of times a year for my job. Normally I have worn black dress shoes but my wife kept commenting that I needed to get actual tuxedo shoes. I knew she was right and started to look around for some shoes that I thought would work with my tux. (My job is a bit straight laced and old fashioned so something crazy just would not work.)I ordered them and hoped for the best. I was not disappointed. The leather is soft and the shoes fit well. One note, if you wear a half size go for the size above rather than below. It will just be more comfortable as the shoes skew a bit narrow.. I wear a 9.5 or a 10 and I got size 10 which fits perfectly.The shoes come in shoe covers. Pro tip: cut a hole in the end of the bags, rubber band them together and hang them with your tuxedo so you know where they are at all times!This is a beautiful shoe and you will not be disappointed by it!

These shoes were purchased on-line. When they arrived two days later I was truly impressed. I've never owned black patent leather shoes. They fit comfortably and will complement the new black suit purchased for a family wedding. Overall I would say they are a great value.

This shoes are great. They fit great although like any shoes they take some time to get used to and break in. The quality of the shoes is pretty good. It has a nice glossy look and and smooth finish. It took some adjusting of the laces to get them to fit but once I found the correct lacing, it was great. The laces are pretty good quality and when I used polish on the shoes it did not cause any damage to the material of the shoe. It came out with a nice shine. I walked around in it at a wedding and my feet did not hurt or feel sore (although I did have to break them in prior). I do recommend dress socks when wearing this since it can be a tight fit if you use too thick of socks. The shoes have pretty good grip. I was able to dance with them on the dance floor at the wedding and did not have any issues with sliding or lack of grip. They are pretty comfortable once you break them in. Overall I really like these shoes, they are a great price and they look great with my suit. I feel like these shoes will work with almost any suit type and color. They are comfortable and fit exactly as expected.

These are beautiful patent leather dress shoes! I like them much better than my expensive Santoni formal shoes I purchased from Neiman Marcus for a black tie event. The profile / construction of this shoe is superlative. I wear a size 9 D (M) shoe (Nike athletic, business. boots, etc.). I ordered the size 9 and they fit a bit snug in width, and in the toe box, but otherwise acceptable. I have normal to slightly narrow feet, so the sleek, narrow construction of these shoes works for me. However, I could see how anyone with wider feet would hate these shoes. It’s unfortunate they don’t offer wide sizes, because ordering up a size probably won’t accommodate anyone with wider feet than myself. So order your size, if you have normal or slightly narrow feet. Anyone with wide feet should look for another brand to avoid disappointment. Hope this helps to demystify the sizing issue!

These shoes came beautifully packaged! I loved how they included a bag for each shoe to avoid scuffing while in the box. I also loved that the box has a handle that can easily be used to carry them. They are slightly padded, beautifully made--well made-- and very stylish. They look amazing in the box as well as on. These shoes seem to fit true to size. my 13 year old nephew is an 8 1/2 and I ordered a 9 because his feet have grown so much in the past year I wanted to make sure they'll fit for the holidays and his upcoming band activities and maybe his spring band concert. He has plenty of toe room to grow a bit without them being sloppy or slipping. He has normal width feet and didn't complain that they were tight or loose or that they hurt just that they were really shiny. He is incredibly hard on shoes and I expect these to hold up to teenage wear and tear.

Excellent fit and finish! Very stylish and well built. I have been looking for formal shoes but have never picked them up due to usually high price and lack of use. These shoes are an excellent value and I will look forward to wearing them at my next special occasion. I much prefer this style to the ones with the band across the front - a nice simple and elegant look. The laces are strong and tacky so they stay tied, often an issue with lace-up dress shoes I've worn before. It's a relief to just tie them once and not have to deal with bending over to fix them every hour. Lastly I'd like to mention that they seem to run spot on as far as size goes, since some have mentioned that these run a bit larger. Enjoy!

Bought these for my son who plays in college orchestra for his concerts. They look great, but because of the shape of the shoes, there's a TON of room in the toe -- so much so he tripped on them the first couple times he wore them. He got used to them and loves the feel, but the toe is definitely a downside. I'm not unhappy with the purchase, but I won't buy again.
