Good value but questionable power spec
This converter has a great value as it has three 115V outlets and four USB charging ports and is lightweight compared to a real transformer for a similar power rating. The description of this device is very cumbersome and not providing the important info. the spec is more informative but may not be true.I tested it at home before sending it abroad for my daughter's use.Without a load, the output voltage read 124V, with the load on, the voltage was 116V/60Hz and 50% duty cycle. these are good numbers.Yet, the power rating is questionable. In a test I ran with a 1500W water heating kettle, the converter tripped itself (with over-temp protection on power components. See picture attached) three times before boiling the water. So, the actual power rating for this device is somewhere under 1500W and not as specified on the sticker (1875W) and sure not as the spec provided above claims (2500W).

Traveling in Europe
Used this on a trip to France and Norway and ran a CPAP machine on it every night for over a week. The USB charging ports were a bonus, and I ended up using them rather than my separate phone charger. Zero problems with the electricity - even when charging two phones, a fit bit, and running the CPAP at the same time. However, the plug adapter for these two countries, as designed, does not set into the receptacle but stops at the rim. This means about a 1/4 inch of depth that is open between the rim and the actual socket face in the wall. Thankfully the adapter itself covers up the whole receptacle, so no danger, but can unseat fairly easily. Keep that in mind and you will have no problems.

Dangerous! Do not purchase!
My family bought two of these for travel to Ireland. On the 5th or 6th day of use, one started shocking people repeatedly when you touched either the cord that was plugged in or the device that was attached to the cord. Around the same time, the second converter shot a spark across the room when a portable charger was plugged into it and fried both the charger and the cord. These are extremely dangerous. Please do not purchase. Unfortunately, we are past the return date so cannot receive a refund.

This product is dangerous.
I thought I was buying from a reliable source but after I arrived overseas I found that the grounding pin was missing. This oversight caused the device not to work at all. I then was forced to either do without power or "MacGyver" my own solution. So. I removed the spring from inside of a retractable ballpoint pen to fashion a makeshift grounding pin. Issue resolved, right? Not so fast. This device has an even deeper issue. What's that you say. Try this on for size. Anything that you touch when the device is operating meaning your phone, your computer, your shaver, anything is charged with 220 volts of live current and you are gonna get the shock of your life if you get out of the shower in wet feet as I did. I rate this device as negative (-5 stars).

Safely run imported electronics at home in the US...
I use this to run a single-serving fryer from Toreba; an online Japanese crane game. Turns out while Japan has the same outlets we have here in the US, their voltage is a little different, and it needs a slight step-down in order to run well. This seems to have done the trick! The 1800 watts is more than ample for small appliances, and my little fryer cooks to perfection every time. Thanks for the great product guys! Now if you'll excuse me... there are some tiny donuts with my name on them~

Converter provided electrical shock
This power voltage converter was purchased because of the serge protection circuit. Unfortunately, the USB outlets were not usable. They provided an electrical shock every time I tried to unplug the phone cable from the phone. Required shutting down the power to unplug the phone. Please sent instructions for securing a properly functioning replacement power converter.

Disappointed-not recommended.
The power cord was for Europe not US. When charging my iPhone on my trip I got shocked while it was charging. Quit using converter/adaptor at beginning of my trip. Disappointed, I don’t recommend the product.
