Small Size BIG LIGHT! Great no-hassle light for remote locations!
I bought some of these to light between storage containers, and the container door area in my yard. There were burgulary attempts under cover of darkness and I hoped these would help take away the “easy pickings” being over 300’ (100m) and further off my back patio. I had low expectations but based on reviews I did a trial purchase of 8 units (2 packs of 4).I had to install these and leave before seeing them in action. They have been out back close to six months. Today I arrived and immediately drove out back in down my corridor. WOW! They popped on clear and amazingly bright. The entire corridor of containers was illuminated as if by commercial street lights. My containers are 24’ (8m) apart, and almost 200’ long. With these lights at the corners roughly every 40-45’ on opposing sides I was AMAZED how well light it was. As I did a quick U-Turn two more popped on from the three containers along the back fence-that was well over the 26’ advertised detection distance which is FINE WITH ME! Walking between them and working under them taking locks off in what was before total darkness lit only with a mobile phone light is literally like night and day! My caretaker mentioned they were bright, and he’s right.I put them up quickly after it had rained, and the container metal was cold and in some cases somewhat dampish-but every one stuck firm and they’re still firmly adhered. There was quite a bit of rain so I’m confident these are up to stay! The only downside is I didn’t buy another two 4-Packs originally (just did that today) the only two places where I had burgulary damage or attempts to get into the containers are the “dead spots” where Zi didn’t place a light. Previous containers which thieves consistently tried to enter now show no more signs of tampering - I can only assume because they are now VERY well lit!I was looking at several thousand dollars to run power almost 450’ from the closest junction box in order to use conventional lighting. These saved me that cost, and I am seriously glad I gave them a try! As mentioned above I have ordered another 8 lights, and likely in a couple weeks I’ll order some more to ship overseas for my provincial bungalow in The Philippines. The ease of installation and brilliant white light are real plusses and not having to run wires and get inspections snd permits is a huge plus, in both my locations!<Update> I added some photos-the first and last photos are the same spot one with lights on, the other just before they were activated. The small light in the distance is a 50W LED on my back porch about 100m distant.

Nice lights
I purchased these because my porch is now hidden behind my big tree and it blocks the street light. I didn't want to put holes in my vinyl siding so I used the vinyl siding hooks I had. They work really well. It was a little bit of a struggle getting them into the screw slots. I had to "uncurl" the tips of the hooks to make them fit but it was easy putting them on the house and if I want to move them or change the battery, it will be quick and easy with no holes left in the siding. Btw, these are bright, so turn your head away when you turn them on, they will blind you! Mine worked right out of the box.Now that I've had these lights for a couple of weeks I wanted to do an update. During the time Dorian was passing through and days that we had rain and clouds all day, these lights still work at night. I use them on the motion sensor setting and could not be happier with the results.Update: I've had these for almost 5 years and one of them sadly stopped working. The other is still amazing! Wish I could find these again. It's hard to find white ones with the mounting holes in the right place for vinyl siding hooks.

Let there be light
I bought these because the “motion detecting” lights that are permanently attached to the corner of my house have never worked for long. I’ve attached these at several locations around my house. They work when there is motion. Amount of light is good.I found it’s important where you put these. The first one I installed was too close to the overhang of the roof to get charging sunlight. It died after a couple of days. But I sat it in direct sunlight and it recovered after a couple of hours. The only other problem I ran into was the surface you attach it to. I tried to mount one light to the siding of my house. I knew it was kinda iffy because the siding has a slight curve. It stayed up for almost a day, then fell. So I relocated it to a flatter surface and it was fine.So I’m happy so far. It’s only been a few weeks, but hopefully they will keep on lighting when needed.

The light you can install and then (almost) forgot about them
Right out of the box, they are super easy to install and will start working as soon as they get a little bit of sun-recharge.Frankly, those are the kind of outside light you can install and then (almost) forgot about them. I said almost, because the sticky tape they provide will fail after a few days under the CA sun. Problem solved by adding some hook to the top of the light though. It's super bright, and will never miss any movement, even from further away. Only small negative I found about those light so far, is that if used a lot in one go (like working on your car front of it for instance), it will slowly dim out and then die completely, and stay off until the next day of sun.

Beautiful Bright Lights!
I ordered these for a little bit of extra security around our house, and they work wonderfully. I can stand 20, even 30 feet away and it will detect me as I walk around the edges of its sensor zone, and the light is *bright* to the point where it lights up our whole back area we share with two other houses. No one will be walking through this yard without being detected. As for battery life, it does very well. I had to put them on our brick work instead of higher where the Sun could hit them all day, so they only get about 6-7 hours of direct sunlight before nightfall. Still, they run until about 6:00 AM before finally running out of power, even in cloudy, rainy, and overcast conditions where you don't see the Sun all day.Overall, I believe this was an excellent purchase, and it's going to give us significant savings on our electric. I will likely by several more for the sides of our building, too. That way we're covered on every side!
