Bit thinner gauge to the one I was replacing. The sun had got to most of the chain linking clasps making them brittle, so I had to replace them all anyway. Let's hope they survive 5 more years in the sunny windows.

My blinds have been fitted for a number of years and many chain fixing clips were broken, mainly because they become brittle due to sunlight. Have now replaced the chains together with the bottom weights as they were also brittle. Now good as new although thickness on new chains thinner than the old ones - however they do the job just as well so not reallt a problem.

New chain has one more bead between the clips than the original, coupled with the fact that the clips are very tight on the the weights and don't pivot, this means that there is a gap between each vertical blind when closed and allows people to see in from outside.

The only thing I don’t like is that the hooks that push onto the weight are just a little too small for my fingers.

Product very lightweight, not as strong as originals and a little fiddly to fit till you get the hang of it but good value for the price.

Poor quality Vertical Blind Chain. Definitely significantly poorer quality than the chain I was wanted to replace. . It is thinner and with smaller bead size. Appears fairly easy to break.I would not buy it again
