I have a medical condition that requires me to lie down frequently. That can be a lot of wasted time if you can't get something done while flat on your back. This desk has been fantastic for me. Most bed desks require you to sit up or be partially propped up to use them. This one lets you use a laptop while completely prone (and prevents it from falling on your face).The "normal" size is good for narrow spaces, like for use in a recliner. If you have a narrow body and don't want to use this desk while under four blankets in bed, the "normal" size will work well for you.The "larger" size is just barely narrow enough to fit comfortably on a twin bed without sliding off. However, since the legs are farther apart, it accommodates my puffy comforter underneath it. It will also accommodate a person with a wider girth at the waist.I took one star off because this desk is really not adjustable while it's in use. You have to set it to the height you want, then put the laptop on it. Otherwise, the build construction is excellent. It's a tiny bit shaky when I'm typing full speed, but it's not going to collapse. It's solid. Don't forget to extend the "feet" to full length when it's in use, or the desk could tip over onto you.If this company would sell me an additional mouse pad, I'd be so happy. I have no need for the cup holder.

I’m enjoying this desk a lot. The overall construction of it is better than I thought and does the job for me. I’ve taken it on a few weekend trips with me and my friends always ask if they can try it out with their laptops or tablets they all want one of their own, I enjoy the fact I can watch a movie on my tablet and adjust the table all the way vertical and I’m comfortable for HOURS

This was perfect for getting the laptop off my knees while in the recliner.If you're going to be using it in a chair like me please measure the width as this won't fit in smaller chairs.This also works well in bed but can be a bit cumbersome to move. Be careful not to raise it too high as it will become top heavy and is prone to tipping over. However, I am using a ventilation riser under my laptop so this could be a contributing factor in the tipping.The pockets work well for my external hard drive but I found the mouse tray of no use as it was too low while using it in the chair and too high while using it in bed.The sliding feet could use some redesigning as they tend to slide off. This isn't really a big issue just a small gripe.The only other possible complaint I would have is that I ordered the Oak and received the Bamboo but once the laptop's on it you don't notice it.All in all it was a good purchase and I would highly recommend it.

I use this for my laptop and to build/paint miniatures. Very ergonomic and lightweight. Adjustments are plenty whether im on my bed or using it on a table building models. Ive looked at other similiar products but this one is the most compact and travel friendly. The finish on my bamboo was stellar. A solidly built product. Happy with my purchase

This thing is great for when I have a lazy Sunday and work from home, I love that I can work laying down. The design is neat and really provides all the things I was looking for. The only complaint I have is that the legs don't latch down when you fold it up so they clank and clack when carrying it and I managed to give myself a blood blister after getting pinched.

My wife and I looked for something that would help her get her work done while pregnant, this has helped her tremendously to lay down whether on the couch or in bed and get her work done. She always used the mouse pad and loved the adjustable positions. Well made and now its a table that our 3yr old loves to do her drawings on and watch her videos when on the floor.

Love the Desk, was easy to set up, should have ordered the smaller size. Just an inch too wide for use in a recliner or armed chair. Love the different ways to tilt the desk surface for ease in typing and viewing. Not awkward, not to heavy to move around. Love that it folds up to transport. Would recommend it to everyone.

Not only is this desk perfect for my everyday use, its also easy to use and doesn't take up space once I want to put it away. Its portable but it doesn't sacrifice functionality. This is the first time I've ever seen a computer/work desk that checks all of these boxes. I finally have the type of desk that I can take anywhere and use for almost anything.
