For the price you can't beat this PH tester. It works easily and seems accurate. I use it all the time. **SILLY BUYER NOTE: The instructions say to take off the cap and rinse the connections with distilled water. Make sure you take off the BOTTOM CAP, NOT THE TOP ONE. The bottom cap is the one you rinse....the top cap is where the battery is and this is NOT what you rinse. OK, I'm mechanically challenged, but the instructions weren't clear ! Had a good laugh after my husband pointed out to me that it was working fine, but that I had taken the wrong cap off.

Product came in damaged. Batteries are corroded have leaked out of the tester. No quality care before shipping item because this would not have been sent out.

The unit was faulty out of the box. I made the mistake of not opening it immediately and testing the unit. It appears to look very similar to the one which I had purchased 6 months before and failed. This was a replacement unit for it which I purchased. Dead on arrival and I certainly will not try another from this manufacturer. Buyer Beware!!

Had a professional try to get this to work. Ended up just throwing it away. What a waste of my time and money.

Would not turn on at all. It came with batteries in the unit so, assuming they were bad, bought new batteries. Never worked.
