Good Product
Good looking product. Installed easily, I was replacing original equipment part. I did find it confusing why other people would expect it to come with brake cable. I found it easy to remove and reinstall brake cable. I found the whole process took about 15 minutes but did have some experience in adjusting derailleur. I would rate this 4 star if I did not know have experience with this product because it is all plastic and even though it is well built I thing if more of it was metal it require less adjustment especially at adjustment points. So if you are looking for a good product to work this is it. If you are a heavy user (daily and off road frequent) I would say spend more money.

Triggers are better
I got these to replace my daughter grip shifters, I mount them and order some new brake cables. Then, I took the bike to the local shop. I test rode the bike. Since the original bike was 6 speed cassette. Upgraded to 7 speed cassette. Took my daughter out riding, she loved the new upgrade. Looks great too. I love that you can shift easily without the risk of hurting your wrist. Especially on long rides when your gloves get moist n you trying to shift quickly.I would recommend these shifters look upgrade the bike's hardware

This was easy to install on the bike and works perfectly. A big improvement over the one it replaced, which had stopped shifting properly.Happy all around - the quality seems good/genuine. I only used one so far, as the other shifter has not worn out yet. When it does, this will be waiting to go in its place!

Shimano seems to have a near monopoly on bike shifters, this model was a good fit and moderately simple install for an amateurlike me. replaced a 3x8 that was not correct for a garage sale purchase.

Works perfectly
No issues, replaced old 7 speed grip shifters on a commuter bike with these, and after 6 months, no issues.

Another great Shimano product, got these to replace the old ones on a thrift store Schwinn MTB, still figuring out how to dial in the gears to the shifters, guess I should go to the website...
