My cat Taylee is a huge fan of this (and Amazon boxes too)! At first I was disappointed at how small the size of the package was (if it were bigger I'd have given five stars), these tiny cans seemed far too small compared to normal sized cat food cans; however, a surprising amount goes into the bowl despite the tiny size and my cat LOVES IT! I chose this for the grain-free healthier ingredients but I didn't expect her to go nuts over this food the way she did, wow! The minute I opened up the first can I noticed the smell was way more appealing than her previous grain-free brand, and so far she's doing very well with this food as she has had a sensitive stomach ever since she was a kitten and cannot have grains, (which cats really shouldn't eat anyway), just wish the cans were full size but happy cat nonetheless! I will purchase again!

As someone who is educated in animal health, including nutrition, I am abhorred at the standards of food for pets. Majority of feline foods are nutritionally comparable to cardboard, I exaggerate, but to give those who don't know a little brain stew cats are OBLIGATE carnivores. This evolutionary aspect to felines is supported by their lack of enzymes in their saliva for breaking down carbohydrates. A little fun fact, they also lack taste buds that sense "sweet" tastes, as they aren't adapted to consuming glucose containing foods. These facts are why I constantly am reevaluating my choices for feeding my furry feline companion. Grain free foods are all I will feed her. I search for the most meat based ones I can find since the potatoes and carrots, etc. that are advertised in foods aren't beneficial. She loves this food!! Being a cat and therefore having to be difficult, she will only eat 1/3 of a can. This is fine as this product is easily stored in a tupper ware or ziploc bag. If it doesn't seem juicy enough I will top the leftovers with chicken broth or fish oil to give it some extra moisture and nutrition. Even without, she will happily eat all the leftovers. I have yet to try the other flavors since she's particular. Although I would love for her to have some better variety in her food, aside from bugs and lizards, this salmon flavor is my absolute go to choice. I have purchased this four times now, and will continue to purchase it; as it is the best choice I have in my arsenal for canned foods to keep the little fur babe in excellent health.

My cat loves this food and tolerates it well (does not throw up afterward). The only thing I have to say is some cans get dented in the shipping process. I would not let my cat eat food from dented cans. I wish they would ship in a cardboard box instead of a plastic bag.

Wild salmon. Makes you think it comes from the ocean, but does it? I've been feeding my cat mostly organic food because of allergies to whatever junk is put in them. I was hoping the line caught and wild caught salmon wouldn't cause my cat any symptoms, but, his symptoms have got worse since giving him these two. So dissappointed and wondering if these are just line caught with a net from a fish farm. I need healthy food for my pets!

I've read quite a bit about how cats need a diet free of grain and is around 70% water. After adopting a very overweight cat just under a year ago, I have tried many different kinds of weight management types of dry food as well as wet food. I never practiced "free choice feeding" with my cat but even limiting her food intake with normal cat food that was full of grains, my cat never lost a pound. She was just unhealthy, she could jump up too high like normal cats can, and she was generally lazy and couldn't move much. After giving her this food for just 2 months I've noticed a significant change in my cat! She has lost weight, her coat feels much better, and she is much more active and can finally jump up on my desk! She also loves the food! I add a tiny bit of water to it just to help fill her up and hydrate her. It gets nice and "goopy" but also chunky! It comes out to about the same amount of food I was giving her before with the added grain food, so it must be something to do with it. If there is any downside to this food, it's that it makes my cat's breath smell pretty bad for a little bit! I can live with that though because her quality of live has improved.
