These glasses are beautiful. Everyone at Thanksgiving wanted to drink wine from these -nobody wanted the normal or stemless wine glasses. Even the kids wanted to put their milk and such in them. I saw someone say that these are fragile, Well of course they are! They are super thin glass wine glasses. By definition they are going to be fragile. However, they are not overly fragile, just don't drop or bang em around in a sink full of plates and such. We did plenty of "cheers" on Thanksgiving and not a single glass was broken. I love love love these.

I never thought too much about which glass to use until I took a Riedel wine glass tasting class. The correct glass made me believe good Chardonnay was actually worth the price. Wow. Dry Oregon Rieslings were always great, and noticeably better in the correct glass. The Rose and Shiraz glasses are a gift (I hope my husband’s not reading this review!), but I expect our New Year toasts to taste even better. What they say is true: All Riedel glasses are super light weight, more durable than you’d think, and regularly get washed on the bottom rack (most are too tall for my top rack), without breaking or clouding. Put some wrapped candy in your old, heavy wine glasses, tie a bow around the stem, and give them away as party favors. I did.

I ordered the pair of Cabernet glasses, and I absolutely love them, with one issue. The base is far too large to fit into my hanging glass rack at 4 1/2 inches. I tried ordering a new rack that said it could accommodate that size, but they only fit with extreme wiggling. This would have eventually not ended well, so... Has anyone found a glass rack that these will fit into? I'm having to leave them sitting on a counter, and am afraid that a disaster is waiting to happen.

These glasses are elegant and sturdy, not only do they have they appearance of a slim profile but when you hold them stem its clear they're very sturdy.

These Riedel glasses are excellent for pino noirs or red blends. Glasses are delicate so need to be hand wash d gently.

I like them, but be advised: the glasses are heavy & the stem is callus-forming thick.

These glasses are fantastic but they are very thin. One tap on the sink and that’s the end of it. Probably not dishwasher safe either. But they are beautiful.

Riedel is known for their beautiful wine glasses. They are delicate, seemingly fragile and utmost care should be taken when washing. A stunning host for your best wines

he pedido 2 copas Riedel. Tanto el tamaño grande y la calidad del vidrio hacen que sea un gusto beber es esas copas. El vidrio tiene un grosor perfecto para mi ni demasiado fino que la copa se te rompa nada más mirarla ni muy gruesa. Estoy muy contenta con la compra. Lo que me sorprendió fue que las 2 copas llegaron a granel en la caja de carton eso si con suficiente papel burbuja para que no se rompieran.
