I used to use a Mach 5 & then to Dorco 6 Plus for the face & Omnishaver for the head. I never shaved against the grain with anything but the Omnishaver which works fantastic. Yet, I still had to shave the face with something else and clean up under the nose and over the ears. I always shaved in the shower because of the mess too.Now I use this electric shaver and its 95% perfect. I use Lectric Shave and had to learn how hard to press it against the skin but it is 95% as close as my blades. Kind of like shaving my head with the grain but I don't have to clean up around the ears or under the nose. No mess and I spend far less time running hot water in the shower to shave. If I want that ultra smooth feel I can use the omnishaver afterward and it takes seconds to do so.I actually like just a little stubble because it keeps the pores open better both head and face.So, that's my take. Get this if you want pretty smooth but not cue ball smooth and then get an omnishaver to get the cue ball look/feel when you have a big night out like a wedding or something to go to.

Bad news first: After three months it became difficult to get the shaver to charge. I tried multiple usb cables, and they would only work when in the product just right. As of last week, just under five months after purchase, I couldn't do anything to get it to charge again. Yesterday marked the last bit of charge the shaver held.Now for the good news: I could get 3-4 full head shavings out of this off of one full charge. The travel lock works nicely. The blades cut nicely and didn't leave me with any bumps or major irritation.Unfortunately with the product completely dying out in less than half a year, I can't recommend this.

Works well but short battery life. Pain in the bitt to clean because it has 5 separate blades to open and clean

It was fine up until I tried using it for a wet shave. After cleaning/washing the rotary blade with water and plugging it back into the device it stopped working. Disappointed.

I have no complaints about this product at all. It is easy to clean, easy to use and it does shave my head closely.
