They look like overpriced girdle panties. However, I am 3 weeks post op, and still want to wear these every day. They are just the right amount of support to make me feel safely held up and in, without feeling squished like a girdle panty would. I especially recommend these to bigger ladies like me who have a belly that rolls over. A floppy belly hurts when recovering, but these nicely hold it in place. They also reach to my bra strap and don't roll down! (I'm about 5'10", 300 lbs. I'm not sure how much larger of a lady these would be comfy for, but I would guess 20 more pounds would fit.) Review: Absolutely love these - I had my surgery 9 days ago. It was supposed to be laparoscopic/vaginal but ended up being total abdominal due to the severity of the endometriosis. After 4 days in hospital and trying an abdominal binder that hurt horribly, I was leary of putting these panties on thinking it would cause more pain. When I got up the courage, the difference in pain was amazing. I could move around easier with less pain and my back muscles weren't taking the brunt of the work. I left them off one day and my pain increased back to the beginning of my recovery. My only problem that I have with these panties is that I don't have enough of them!

Four Stars
These have been great but I definitely ordered a size too big.

Run small
I purchased these for in advance of surgery, thinking I would need them. When I tried them, they run small, and I thought I had purchased them in the "right size". The fabric is nice, and they seem well made. I unfortunately returned them.

Very comfortable and fit well
I had a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy. I'm between sizes, so I bought the larger. Very comfortable and fit well. I'm 5'7 1/2", so I was happy that the panty reached close to my bra line for a very smooth, supportive line. No cutting across the incision or the tummy. Easy to put on and off, not crazy tight like spanx, yet still supportive. Soft, stretchy fabric. I might buy the size smaller to wear later instead of spanx when going out.

Isn't true to size
I ordered the 1x/2x but I couldn't even get them on around my waist. I normally wear a 1XL so these should have been no problem to get on but they were. I couldn't even wear them and I was 1 day short of the return window. $42.00 wasted as I really need these, I just had a total abdominal Hysterectomy. Don't recommend at all.

Perfect for post pregnancy care!
These fit better than expected and were much more comfortable than, say, Spanx. I was expecting and wanted these for postpartum comfort. These really fit the bill! I had a traditional birth and the aftercare is always uncomfortable. These really help everything stay up and in place. Highly recommend for post pregnancy care!!

Priceless for abdominal surgery
Wonderful for both my open abdominal hysterectomy and subsequent laparoscopic bilateral oophorectomy and endometriosis removal. Extend up high (under bra line and Iโm 5โ2โ) and never roll down or rest on any incisions. Applies excellent pressure to belly that relieves a lot of post-op pain and supports lower abdomen when itโs swollen and floppy. Provides light back support. Supportive of belly during car rides. Just a godsend. Transitioned from 1X/2X down to XL/L as open incision swelling started to come down, but still swollen from laparoscopy.
