I will be the first to admit I have always been a Cobra CB owner, I was looking for something very small and decided to try this President Bill out. Any way here it goes - 1. Size is crazy, it is so small. It fits about anywhere. I have this in my LJ and I can put it anywhere. 2 Clarity crystal clear (for a CB) both TX and RX good. 3 features, I keep finding more, I guess I should have read the manual but it is pretty feature rich. Change color of display set different Em channels I rarely use 19 0r 9 for that matter so its a cool feature. 4. Internal Speaker, I rarely have a Top on my Jeep so the internal speaker is not quite enough. I use an amplified external speaker and it fixes the issue however when I am engine off and not moving the internal speaker is plenty loud. Overall Impression - I have had it for close to a year now and I highly recommend it, The size is AWESOME and it just works great. Remember with any CB the radio will only work as well as the Antenna. I do have a good quality Antenna and it is tuned to the radio.

Great little CB! This is my first CB radio so I'm a rookie here, but from what I can tell this unit is fantastic. I researched CB's for days until I landed upon this one. All the others on the market are wayyy too big for what they are. I didn't want a huge box in my truck taking up unnecessary space. This little thing is the most compact unit I could find on the market, and it works great. Went on a weeklong 4x4 trip with a buddy and our comms worked perfectly the whole time. I'm using it with a 2ft firestik and while my swr readings are very high, the setup still worked great. The speaker is pretty loud for how small it is, and the only time it was tough to hear was when I had the windows down going 70 mph down the highway. Other than that it's perfectly loud. The day this unit fails me, I will order the exact same one.

This is a great little CB radio. I placed it in my side by side with a 5' fire stick on it, and my CB buddies say it has excellent transmission for such a small radio. For a small speaker, it is very good, clear and audible. I am placing one in my vehicle also. The mic is small and the only draw back is that it has two buttons on top of it that will change the channel if your not careful. That is fixed by holding down the "Roger/Key" button down on the lower left of the CB for a few seconds and a image of a "key" will appear on the screen to let you know you have turned the buttons off. This is a great radio for the money.

The military does not use CB radio but if they did, this is the radio they would use. This is a very small radio that fits in almost any spot in your vehicle. As others have pointed out it is amazingly small but has a big punch on output power and sound. The metal case and large heat sink are good indicators of a quality piece of equipment. Signal reports are all very good and the radio has features not found on many radios. Instant weather and weather alerts are two important ones if you spend a lot of time outdoors. Buy a good antenna and you're set. There are cheaper radios on the market but you always get what you pay for.

Was having trouble finding a small CB to fit nicely into my Jeep JK. Even the Cobra 75 seemed to big for a nice install. Thought I would give the Bill FCC a try. Really worked out well. Even the mic mounted down onto the console keeps everything out of the way, no interference with either shifter, no mic & cable always there in the way. Using a Firestick FL4-B antenna and SS3-M spring, and a Hustler SSM-2 mount. CB seems to perform well. After tuning antenna SWR runs at about 1.1 on channel 20 and about 1.7 on channels 1 & 40. Have it connected to 12V switched power connector just above it. Like that is retains channel setting when ignition and power go off. As others have said Automatic Squelch Control (ASC) is not as good as setting it manually, but it seems adequate especially as a 'wife setting' when she's in the Jeep and I'm in the motorhome as she doesn't have inclination to be continually fiddling with the squelch. Weather radio reception seems particularly good, receiving more stations than my previous Uniden. While it may not have quite the power and performance of a larger radio I think it is a great compromise for a Jeep JK given how little space there is to work with. Only real complaint is the very small built in speaker can be somewhat difficult to understand. Would definitely buy it again.

I have been using this radio for 5 years & it has worked flawlessly. It fits in my jeep perfectly. Dependent upon the particular antenna to which it has been connected at that moment, I have made contacts up to 20 miles away. A little hint: go online and research how to access the "service menu", and adjust the transmitter power to the full 4 watts. Out of the box, the unit runs at about 3.5 watts. Update: 2 days after I submitted the 1st review, the ASC (auto squelch control) stopped working. I still give this unit 5 stars. It has worked, and continues to work, at levels exceeding expectations. It has been in constant use for 5 years, and I would recommend the President Bill (& the Bill 2) to anyone seeking a solid performer in a cb radio. Without hesitation.

I absolutely love this thing. I’m not sure you will find a more feature packed cb radio for this price at this size. I bought this for my Tacoma to use camping, off roading, traveling etc. and I could not be happier, first thing is how friggin small it is, which makes it ideal for Tacoma owners (not a lot of extra space in the cab) 2nd is how nice it looks, it’s very minimalist, channel switching is done either on the mic or in the display face which you press either the top or bottom to cycle through channels (this feature will probably be your favorite thing about it) it has two ways to mount, either the traditional bracket with thumb screws, or a rack style that lets you slide the cb in and out.

Small, compact easy to install and is equipped with features and performance. A very impressive CB radio. I do not regret making the decision to buy this radio!

Great deal

Un beau petit C.B. de petite taille mais pleins de caractéristiques . le son n'est pas parfait mais c'est normal pour un si petit radio et il y a une prise pour installe run haut parleur supplémentaire au besoin. Le seul point positif est la réception du canal météo qui est très faible voire inutilisable comparé a mes autres C.B. même avec une bonne antenne.
