Philipp Karner writes, directs and stars in this drama looking at the attempts by a young couple to reinvigorate their relationship. Bit-part actor Mark (Karner) is questioning his career and his relationship with the ever up-beat and supportive musician Jonah (Denver Milord). In the hope of returning to the elusive happier days of their romance the couple embark on experimentations with therapy and drugs.

Disappointing!
The story idea is good for this movie, but I'm afraid it didn't deliver: perhaps due to a muddled script, poor direction, and confused editing. The actors mumbled most of their lines into their chests, and even after a second viewing, we hadn't picked up a lot of the dialogue, and yes: we do have a very good sound system connected to our Dvd player! Not a good effort, I'm afraid.

Dull, and this is the most positive way to say it.
A waste of money and 90 minutes of my life, twice. I have to watch the movie twice to see if I understand the storyline, there is none. Long story short, a lot of psychologic talking, a strange sister in the storyline about a dead father and one of the main karakters who spent almost 10 minutes of the movie in his car in a carwash. The acting performance are very poor. The only thing I can say is that this storyline is coming from a writer with a fuzzy thought.

Love is a Struggle
Interesting film surrounding Mark who is trying to fail back in love with Jonah, and the struggle he goes through whilst trying to keep his ambition to be an actor on track as well. Good performances from the lead characters, but the film for me could have benefitted from some incite into why Mark and Jonah need to be falling back in love!

An Honest and Well-Crafted Film
Honesty is the word that seems to pop up in other reviews of this very well crafted film as well. This is an honest depiction of everyday relationship struggles, especially when depression and mental illness are at play. The two leading characters are likeable, the actors engaging and persuasive. The ending is superb. A very good film - recommended.
