Decent basic laptop
One should start with the right expectations with this laptop. It is a cheap basic laptop. I'll call out the issues right at the start, so that you can decide if this device makes sense for you.- Initial boot up and startup is very slow. I ran task manager, and this was because of a bunch of Windows updates running in the background. My recommendation to deal with this would be to start setting this up, and when the laptop has run through all its configuration steps, give it another 3-4 hours, depending on the speed of your wifi connection. After it was done updating, I saw the CPU come down to ~15% when idle- This laptop has Windows 10 in S mode. If you dont need any other apps, I am sure its fine. But I did not find a good ssh app in the Windows App store, and I wanted my trusty Putty back. This meant that I had to get the laptop out of S mode. Its not hard to do, Windows practically walks you through how you do this. There is an irritating part where you have to have a Windows ID to get out of S mode. Other than that, its pretty painless. Be aware that getting out of S mode does not mean that you can magically install apps on this laptop. It only has 32GB, and with the OS installed, you probably have 10G of useful space. This will not be enough to install a whole bunch of apps. If you want to, this does have an SD card slot. Use that and expand storage.- The keyboard is not great. It has the power button at the top right, where I expect the back space button. I hit it by mistake a couple of times, but got used to the keyboard in a couple of hours. The bigger issue is that some of the keys seemed to catch a bit when they were springing back. I was not bad enough to make this unusable, and maybe it will get smoother with a little bit of useNow that we have that out of the way, the good stuff:- Its a cheap basic laptop. It does fine as long as you are not treating it like a performance machine. Its something that I would be okay with my mom using for some basic web browsing, or some kids that want to basically use google docs.- Battery life seems decent. I was seeing 4-5 hours on the clock. Did not check if that was actually true, but based on how this was draining, I think that would be fine.- Has SD card - so you can expand storage.- Has a mini HDMI port. Not sure anyone buying this would ever use it, but you know - its there.- Fingerprint reader. Was a little glitchy to setup, but then worked great. Makes logging in so much easier.- Screen. Again - its basic. Bright, seems sharp. works. Its not HD and not FHD. But with the 11" screen, that seems fine. Fonts are easy to read without having to increase font size.- Chassis is good. Its clearly a super cheap rip off of a macbook (see the above comments about the power button), but on the plus side, its sleek, light, finish looks decent. To summarize - its a good basic decent laptop. Probably a good gift item for someone looking for basic functionality.

great product
Price caught my eye. Needed to get my grandkid a laptop so I went with this. It is a very light and thin computer. Does what he needs it to do for school. Screen is also very clear.

Got what I paid for (and no more)
Honestly, I am not very impressed with this purchase. I do realize that I bought a CHEAP laptop; however, I did not think so much effort would be required to get it started. It took SO much effort, just to plug the adapter into the hole in the computer (this is after confusing the earphone slot on the right side for it). I thought I was going to break the connector inside the adapter hole, trying to force the adapter in - it finally went through. Not to speak of all of the updates that appear to be required - there are multiple installs needed, and I am still waiting for them to show a.measure of progress.Others have said - be VERY certain what you do and do not need, before buying this.

Good budget laptop for most applications
Ordered this laptop one night when I was feeling frivolous as the specs looked pretty decent. Got buyers remorse the next morning as I was feeling like it probably wouldn't really function like a non 'budget' computer with the same specs, and tried to cancel. Unable to cancel. Came very quickly and I tried it out. Was able to get it out of Windows S mode pretty easily (and into full Windows 10), and was pleasantly surprised at the functionality. Obviously not expecting it to run graphic intense games, but it does hold up with some heavier processing programs that I use. Im sure its not designed to take much abuse, but actually feels pretty sturdy. Battery life has been good so far. Not upset about this purchase at all, would definitely recommend. It does boast a webcam, however it might as well be without as its terrible quality. That's the only real quality issue Ive noticed so far.

Not sorry!
We bought this laptop for the 15 year old for Christmas.Firstly, the price could not be beat for a new laptop. The lack of reviews was a bit disconcerting. But whatever. The child is a gamer. Within our monetary means. He say."Its faster than my last" a used HP pavilion."The graphics are better""The sound is more clear."It was super easy to escape the windows 10s mode.He is extremely happy with it. And we are pleased we made this risky purchase.

Poor product/quality. Do not recommend
Bought this on Black Friday last year to give as a Christmas gift. Husband just needed a basic laptop for simple, on the go work. He finally got to use it a month ago, and the damn thing just keeps shutting down or not turning on. Unfortunately we are past the return date, but this laptop is a piece of junk and no wonder it was part of the Black Friday “deals” for so cheap... not worth it at all. Get a name brand, reputable laptop and save yourself some disappointment.
