Great at cooling, but poor after market fitting kit
J. Crenshaw below review covered every thing fairly well with this kit, my info belowThe after market kit is designed for GTX 280, its also listed on its packaging, amazon has it listed for "Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 VGA Cooler for nVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, GTX 280 and GTX 285". I have 2 x GTX 285 INNO Cards, this product will not fit directlyThe Voltage Regulator Heatsink will not fit a INNO GTX 285, i had to use a few old heatsinks and cut them to fit. The Ram Heatsinks supplied falls off, so i used small amounts of Araldite(5min) at each end of the heat sinks(some heatsinks but up to each other so extra points needed to be glued down). All up it takes a good 1+ hours to setup. Plus the 2 brackets need to be flattened down or there may be a gap on the gpu which would fry it in secsDespite the massive amount of work involved, the card now runs at 57° Celsius with outside temp at 30° Celsius. Dropped the card temp by a good 21° while under load, running either Dragon Age Origins or Risen etcOverall rating, well there is nothing else out there that gives a decent drop at cooling these cards, and im not in a air-conditioned environment(unless you want water cooling, be a pain if needing to remove gpu card, water cooling cpu is good, amazon has nothing decent listed so google up frozencpu and see there water blocks, virtually every 200 series is available now). And the card had to be cooled, so i give it 4 out of 5, because it is a lot of stuffing around to get this up and runningAmazon drastically needs to fix the description, the packaging has it listed for GTX 280Can purchase them new from $60.00 from Coolerguys here at amazon making it a bargain buy

good cooling, but terrible installation
Installed this on an XFX GTX 285. The three fans and GPU radiator seem to do the job. After installation, the temps (registered via speedfan) went from 85C to 55C. The fans and main GPU regulator seem to be of decent quality.I've been doing computer work for years, and when I read some of the other reviews saying that the installation was difficult, I guess I figured that it couldn't be THAT bad and that maybe people were doing something wrong. They weren't. IT IS THAT HARD. First, the instructions are terrible. Second, the custom aluminum heat radiator didn't match the layout of the voltage regulators on the XFX 285. Third, the other square heat radiators weren't enough to cover everything that the stock cooler was covering. I ended up fabricating something out of other parts that I had around, but it wasn't easy. I had to use thermal expoxy to get things to stick. Also, there's a big metal shield that's supposed to go on the back and stick with just some double-sided sticky heat pads. It's a huge shield (the side of the back of the card) and there's NO WAY it's going to stay on with just these little pads. And, there's no way to secure it with the screws that come with it.I'm usually pretty good at physically hacking things to make them work. All in all I probably spent 4 hours assembling this, requiring the use of not only thermal epoxy, but also pliers, wire snips, a hacksaw, and a grinder! This thing will make your GPU cooler, but it's DEFINITELY NOT one-size-fits all, even though it says that it's supposed to fit GTX 260, GTX 280 and GTX 285, and definitely not an easy installation. If you really really need something to cool your video card, this will do the job. However, be prepared to have a very difficult time installing it. On cooling alone this would get 5 stars, but the installation is so bad that it only gets 2.

Good performer, questionable parts
I bought this product from a site other than Amazon, but felt it was necessary to spread the word about this product. I'll try and keep this short and simple. This product was installed on a GTX 280 for reference sake.Pros:Whisper quiet. At any fan speed, you can't even tell the fans are going. DRAMATICALLY quieter than the stock fan. Because of the quietness of the fans, you can't even tell a difference when changing the fan speed, unless you are REALLY listening for them.Cool. Ran a quick test to see what this would yield at full load. Got to about 71C full load, 80% fan speed (using the EVGA Precision tool) and 70C or cooler at full speed. Idles at about 47C.Cons:Expensive. The most costly aftermarket fan from Arctic Cooling, probably because the line of cards it is meant to cool are among the most recent. Still, about a 20 dollar jump isn't quite necessary.Long. The heatpipes and sink makes this already long (10.5 inches) card a little longer, so hopefully you aren't trying to stick this into a micro-ATX case.RAGE!:There are a few heatsinks that are supposed to be set on the RAM, voltage regulator and backplate. You are supposed to keep them attached with thermal pads that are slightly sticky... but they don't hold the peaces on for crap. Slipping, sliding, falling off... horrible. Because of this, it took me several hours to complete attaching the fan to my card, trying to get everything to hold (I got it to hold with a mixture of thermal paste and epoxy). Look into proper adhesive if you buy this fan.Overall, this is a great performer, but not perfect. The pros outweigh the cons in my eyes, but make sure you have time on your hands to install this attachment. Keep in mind those cons if you are deciding on this fan.

Cool...
