I used these for a headdress that I made for my daughter's Halloween costume. One of them was a bit frayed, but overall, the feathers were in decent condition. There were 4 feathers that were very long and the rest were slightly shorter.Update: My daughter attended a Halloween party, so I added a new photo for reference, but did not realize one of her tassels fell off before the shot. Each tassel trailing down from the sides of her face had one of these long feathers tied onto it. The feathers are still holding up well. The headdress was too high for sitting in the car, so the feathers bent downward, but they did not break. They seem pretty flexible, but I would not force them too much or they might snap.

I bought a toy at a petstore for $8.99 that contained a single pheasant feather and my cats loved it and had it destroyed within the hour. Not wanting to spend another $10 on the same toy, I looked for pheasant feathers online and found these, and my cats loved them. I toss the feathers and they chase after it and drag it all around my house. They will chew on the feathers until they are completely broken down.If you have cats who love feather toys, they may very well like these feathers as well and it's a lot cheaper to buy

Great product. Looked great in my Thanksgiving arrangement and the price is incredibly less than big box craft stores. My only complaint is that they have a very strong smell, almost like moth balls. It seems to dissipate and no one noticed it at the dinner table, however I now have them in a new arrangement with some fresh pine greenery and when I spray the pine with water to keep it from getting dry the feathers stink when they get wet.

I bought these as cat toys for our indoor cat. He goes ballistic over these things! Chasing and pouncing on them while we swipe it around. In the middle of the night he'll occasionally wake me up because he's pouncing on them. It's also nice to know that if he chews or accidentally swallows bits of the feather it's a real, natural pheasant feather so he'll either digest it or barf it up safely. Nice, non-toxic pet toys FTW!

I’m disappointed in the length and volume.

we got these to replace old ones on a wreath. they are perfect, right length and good coloring.

Excellent, I'm an old guy surfer, the sun and I no longer get along (19 melanomas) so I decorate my straw hats with this great companies craft feathers and such
