It is hypoallergenic but it doesn't lather.

I am glad that there are some products available for people like me who are allergic to all hair products.

I saw this for sale and thought I'd try it, since I've had problems with conditioners for years. It doesn't make my scalp break out, which is a definite plus, but it smells like old ladies, and I'm really not sure it DOES anything. My hair, after using it, is still a little tangly, and it doesn't feel particularly soft or look any shinier than usual. And, while I understand using a little fragrance to keep a conditioner from smelling fatty, I don't see why they had to choose a VERY long-lasting scent that reminds me of my grandmother's closet.

Great if you are allergic to sulfates, as there were none in it. Exactly as advertised.

I bought this as there are chemical sensitivities in my household. I prefer all natural products, but my hubby and 3 year old daughter needed something a little more mainstream for their hair types. (My hubby has very thick, straight and coarse hair and my 3 year old has a head full of baby-fine ringlets.) It works well as both a conditioner and detangler. There haven't been any issues with allergies or irritated scalps.According to the EWG website, this contains mostly safe ingredients (with the possible exception of the synthetic fragrance - which is true of any fragrance-containing product.) The scent is mild compared to most products, although I still wish it was a bit less prominent. All in all, I'm pleased with it and would buy it again.

Did not work well with my sensitive scalp and when shipped it leaked all over the place.

Great for sensitive skin/scalp!

This is great for those with sensitive skin as it has very similar ingredients as the one for dry/color treated hair and so it doesn't kill my skin. Highly recommend for others like me who are allergic to seemingly everything.
