Ancient Italian Tarot: 78 Full Colour Tarot Cards

Looked at images online before purchasing, so I had an idea of what to expect.I wanted a deck that had pip cards, unillustrated minor arcana cards, but not a Tarot de Marseilles deck. I wanted a deck that looked "old," had interesting images (to me), was not too wide for me to shuffle and had great cardstock.This deck meant the bill!The images are not super clear, they are kind of pixilated-looking, which lends to their look of bygone days.*So if you are looking for great detail, clarity, not this deck*. IT IS JUST what I wanted though. Something NOT modern and "perfect" looking.I also LOVE the cardstock. Lo Scarabeo cardstock is great for me. It is sturdy, more narrow, so easier to shuffle, and I love the papery smell of the cardstock.IF you wish to get a better idea, I suggest you do what I did. Just look in Youtube for Ancient Italian Tarot Reviews and you will see various people looking through the deck and commenting.

Liked this deck but I notice with lo scarbeo decks that there’s a potent smell that’s very strong. I have to keep it out for days to air out. Overall love lo scarbeo decks.

I bought this as a Birthday present... For my relative, oh gosh she love this Tarot and the cards are just perfect sequence... Not to mention the cuteness of design... Any ways I certainly recommend this Tarot to anyone:)

I like the card stock.

This deck is nothing short of GORGEOUS! It is a pip deck (it's in the same family structure as Marseille)... however, the graphics are STUNNING!! I've used this deck for a couple years and decided I needed to get another one for a backup... The cards are easy to handle and shuffle and the colors just POP out at you. If you're not accustomed to reading pip decks, but want to learn the system, this deck would be a gorgeous deck option to get. If you already know how to read pip decks, this deck is a gorgeous deck. If you just like gorgeous decks... well, you know what I'm going to say :-) ... for the price and the durability and the beauty. It's a win win. :-)

This deck is gorgeous. I prefer the Italian decks, no one does tarot like the Italians, which makes sense since they invented it. If you like the art of this deck, you might also like other Italian decks such as the Soprafino and Tarocchi Perrin. This is a historic, pip style deck. I can't speak on the odor or film on the surface of the cards because that hasn't been my experience.
