Quality Construction, Uses readily available fuel (sticks) to generate a very usable cooking flame. I use it regularly on the patio to cook breakfast, for side dishes while grilling, making coffee with my camp percolator and most anything that a kitchen burner can be used for.For fuel I simple ignite a handful of sticks in the quality cast iron combustion chamber, after a short while, the fan kicks on and any smoke there might be, mostly disappears and an intense gas burner like flame heats your pot or pan for great outdoor cooking. I use it regularly to eliminate kitchen cooking messes and enjoying the outdoors.I love this stove. It is easy to get out, clean and put away. It also generates a few watts of power for phone charging or powering the included led light.It is also great for when the power goes out or for when "the end is near".It good backpacking for outback adventires.I am considering buying a second one I like this thing so much.

The media could not be loaded.  The first day I got it it looked sturdy and it is heavy not extremely heavy one person can still pick it up one thing is to be careful using it the first time all you need is literally 2 sticks to start the fire you put three it's too much two at a time should be enough I like this product because the fire stays a long time and it starts fast are boils water less than 20 minutes the handles on the outside stays cool to the touch the light works very well but you can't raise it no higher than the yellow battery pack I have tried different ways and it doesn't go any higher then the power pack the stick part for the light is a little flimsy and weak the power pack does charge your phone at long as you have the fire on the only thing that upset me is mine's was broken an opening a little at the top but even though mine's was broken a little at the top I still guarantee anyone to get this it is perfect for camping if you out in the woods if you don't want to waste your electricity or gas in the RV or at home in the backyard all you need to do is just break a couple of Twigs off a tree no big logs or nothing and it isn't time-consuming you could take it wherever you go it is as big as a two and a half gallon corn oil bottle but it is not as heavy it's a bit lighter I'm going to use mine for a week straight morning and night and I will give another update to see if it's really worth it I would have gave it a five-star if it wasn't broken that's the only reason why I gave it a 3-star. ( Update)I really love this product I tried it for two months I know I said I was going to do it for a week but I just wanted to make sure if it was really worth it and it is definitely worth every penny I can cook practically anything and it is better than a gas stove me and my family approve of BioLite stove and we are definitely getting another one. Charger on the Bayou lights does take a little long to charge your phone I think it only works on Lower Class phones to charge better but we all still like it

I made pizza on my home stove and it was fantastic! I got the pizza dome kit to use on my stove and found that I had a home stove instead of a base camp. I placed the pizza stone on it's rack inside a large cast iron frying pan and the pizza dome over that, and even though the home stove has different specs than the base camp stove, it worked beautifully! Just using wood found in my yard I was able to make a meal for six people in about a half hour.

We tried this stove for our first camping trip, and loved it! Was a little confusing to set up (I’m not good at those things), but once we got it set up it worked wonders!

My family owns and loves a wide assortment of BioLite products over the years. We have purchased and satisfactorily used the Camp Stove, five BioLite Backpacking Stove and any number of Light, Grills, and Kettles.One of the primary purposes in all of our purchases has been the ability to charge and operate handheld devices with the USB ports. I don't know why the last two camp stoves (The BioLite HomeStove 2 and the FirePit) have lost what I consider the most essential feature of BioLite, power generation for secondary uses. I can see some demand for a backpacking stove without USB capacity, weight. Nonetheless, in a Based Camp stove, I want as much power capacity as reasonably and economically possible.

I don't see all the fuss on there reviews over there stoves. It's more a problem with Amazon not Biolite, I really doubt Biolite is going to send a used stove to anybody. I personally worked as a Amazon delivery driver and know for a fact that boxes in Amazon through the shipping process can get damaged. Anyways, I have been a long time buyer of Biolite and have used their products over and over again. If you use the product for what its designed to do they all work great. It does take some learning but its all fun. I am excited to get the home stove being that it was not for sale for consumers. Now that it has come I am super excited to try it out and get back on here for a legit review on this exact product but if it works as well as the other im sure I won't be disappointed.

If you don't want to have to lug fuel (propane or other types) with you while you are camping, this wood stove is one you should consider. While a bit heavier than their original stoves, that makes it much sturdier for cooking larger meals or if you have a bit of weather where you are camping. Cleanup is also pretty easy.

Love this stove not to be mistaken with the base camp this is the home stove 2 great for camping, prepping or if you just want an alternative/backup to an electric/gas burner can even charge devices in a pinch. Love this company, what they stand for, and the great products they have to offer.

Box a bit banged up, but all is fine inside. Package came on time. Everything was as advertised. Better quality than expected.

Came a week late. Box had been opened and retaped. Stove is clearly used, multiple scratches. Very disappointed.
