Chiostro di Saronno Panettone - Pistachio - Hand Wrapped, 750g, Made in Italy

I purchased it for Easter. It came wrapped beautifully. It was delicious, everyone loved it. Mangia!

While the "pistachio" panettone was delicious, I couldn't taste pistachios over the layer of chocolate that admittedly was mixed with pistachios. The chocolate that i did not know was going to be on it completely overpowered everything else. And the twine that they used to bind the paper around the panettone smelled strongly of goat. Yes as in actual 🐐.

Delicious! A true glimpse of fine Italian pistachio cream panettone.

Overpriced and arrived stale! Very disappointed.

It's dry but okay as far as the staste

This was a wonderful Christmas panettone. Beautifully wrapped- very fresh- and a wonderful combination of chocolate topping , pistachio filling , and delicious cake.

Covered with dark chocolate and filled with delicious pistachio cream - what else one can wish :)

The photos show the interior studded with pistachio cream. The reality is there is just a few globs of it scattered throughout. Not every piece of the panettone will have pistachio when you cut it. The cake itself is also a bit heavier than others I've had, so maybe they didn't ferment the dough long enough. With some small improvements, this could have been 5 stars.
