NRS Whiz Freedom Feminine Funnel

I want to be able to use one of these devices primarily in bathrooms because I now seem to routinely get major splashback (talk about non-hygienic!!), but I’m very happy to say I can also use this outdoors while clothed! I find it comfortable, easy to use, small, sturdy and lightweight, drips almost dry (I always carry a water bottle anyway which helps with cleanup); I think the pinched tip may be what makes it functional considering its short length. While this little item appears like it should be less expensive than it is, I’m willing to pay the price because it works for me, and I just ordered a second one just to have it. Originally I tried two disposable products; one of them was painfully stiff, the other softened and collapsed during use, both leaked even with some toilet paper behind, so I’m out $80 on these. Tried two of the floppy pink funnel kind, major leaking because they aren’t stable and the stream didn’t reach the toilet unless I straddled which is difficult (and unhygienic) without getting undressed if you are wearing pants. Then two of the open trough style, the Venus to Mars and the TinkleBelle; both overflowed the sides which seems obvious to me but apparently ok for some other (skinnier?) people. I wanted to like the TinkleBelle which looks well engineered and expensive plus I received an email from them describing in detail how to use it. I still have a SheWe in shipment but even if it works, having two pieces to clean and dry seems like a drawback even with the handy case.

The thing I love most about this Whiz Freedom product is that it is soft, which means it doesn't hurt sensitive parts like others I have tried. It fits nicely in a water bottle so I don't have to get out of my tent at night. Also extremely useful in bathrooms in 3rd world countries, and airplane toilets. The downside is that I bought my first one in 2009 and one day in 2015 discovered it disintegrating. In 2016 I bought my second one after having to look hard to find it. In that 6 year period many more came into the market at much cheaper prices, but they were not better, just had slicker advertising. My second one now in 2019 has just cracked on a seam. I have taped it with electrical tape but that's not working so well. New price is now over $28. I will try some others once again. I would love this Whiz Freedom a lot more if it lasted longer.

Full time travelers exploring North America since 2/17 (three years and 100,000 miles thus far). It was a modest pain in the ass to search for a bathroom most of the time, but it was a freaking emergency when traveling to alaska and the Yukon where there is nothing and no one for hours on end. I was fine. The dogs were fine. She was miserable. Not a suggested way to travel. But with this little doodad, she gets a dick of her own. Can go anywhere the dogs can, or I can. Guys before going where there are no handy bathroom for much of the day (camping, fishing, hunting, or the middle of nowhere) get her one of these. If she won't use it, chuck her and find another. My lady loved the freedom it gave. seemed to find it comfortable, clean, hygenic, and with 2 minutes practice easy to use. Highly recommended

This little thing is seriously the greatest. I can roll it up into a tiny ball about the size of a large grape tomato, wrap it with a rubber band, and put it in my pocket. (But don't store it long-term that way). I've used it already on a roadtrip that I drove by myself, and instead of getting off a sketchy rest stops where I'd probably get my car stolen or worse, I'd just pull over on a safe part of the road, do my thing, and continue. If you're not the one driving, you can even use it to go into a bottle while in the car!I like it so much, it lives on top of my toilet so I can use it whenever I want!The absolute and only (very minute compared to the benefits) downside is that you do have to "drip dry," as it were. But this can be solved by carrying some toilet paper or similar along with you.Best thing I've ever bought.

I really like the idea of this. When it works its great but after numerous uses i still have fails (leakage) You really need to get an idea of placement by feeling. Breasts and stomachs make it difficult at times or having jackets and coats on. Definately easier to use if in privacy or a stall. I have used with jeans on outside with success and didnt drop pants below my butt. Love the idea about not squatting or using a bucket. I will keep practicing. Definately have extra undies and pants available. You really have to get to know this product. Practice in dark, clothed, coats on. It took me some time and still have not mastered. Before my trip i only practiced in bathroom where i had no jacket on was in private and easy clothes on. First use outside i leaked on myself. Practice practice practice

The Whiz Freedom has worked great so far. Test runs at home have been successful. Going on the trail (which is what I bought it for) still proves a bit difficult and needs more practice. As a lady I would suggest bringing along toilet paper on the trail and a change of underwear in the first few uses. Overall great product and exactly as described. I look forward to using it!

We like boating even when it's too cold to dip one's bum in the lake for a wee. This - or my technique - is far from perfect, but any over-flow can be mitigated by a [freshly laundered] rag nestled 'neath it in one's unders. So bring a supply of dry cloths and baby wipes.

I bought this from Outdoor Play. I also ordered a cheaper 4 pack of a similar FUD for $6.99. Although the cheaper alternative does work, it does not perform as well as the Whiz. This thing is really great. It fits nicely and the design of the tube prevents splashing and spraying and results in a much more controlled stream. As for the retailer Outdoor Play, they were great and the product was delivered very quickly.
