I was wanting a safe to hold important documents like birth certificates, passports, etc, and I am so happy with the purchase of this safe-it's the perfect size! It's lightweight but sturdy.The item arrived well-packaged, and the seller included batteries. The safe comes with two "emergency" keys in case you forget your digital code or the batteries die.Setting the code is super easy, and the instruction manual is simple to follow.It also came with two mounting screws if you want to install it to a wall.Overall, it's a great buy for keeping your valuables safe without taking up too much space.

This safe was a very good investment. I got it because I'm moving into college soon and have a roommate. the safe is a very good size, looks very sturdy and looks of the highest quality. It doesn't look like it'll break in any way, any time soon and the locking mechanism looks very strong. The safety keys work well and it's very easy to understand and use. Overall, a very good investment and would highly recommend.

Not sure how it is waterproof with two mounting holes on the back. Metal sides do not seem real sturdy.

Just needed something cheap to hold keys. The instructions call out using a green button to set the code. No button. I take it apart, and yeah - it wasn't soldered on. I can add one myself - but nope. This is great for holding keys in a garage or anything to prevent a smash and grab like petty cash in your banana stand. The box is pretty solid and there's nothing wrong with the build.Don't expect anything this cheap to be fire or water proof. If you get a working one - good on you. Looks suitable for purpose. Quality control seems flaky - so order and if it's ded send it back. Mine's ded - sending back :)

I haven’t noticed as far as water resistance, but there are holes in it for bolts to the wall or floor so you’d definitely want to make sure those are sealed good if you’re worried about water. The safe is small, but I use it to hold my wallet and passport so it’s perfect for exactly what I need it for. If you have a lot of objects or a bunch of money/jewelry, you’ll definitely want something bigger. But for what I need it for it’s perfect and I am very satisfied.

Overall, I'm mixed about this. It's an inexpensive fireproof and waterproof safe with decent space for a 9mm, cash, and important documents like a passport. HOWEVER. I get super frustrated every time I shut the thing because the plate that holds the batteries in place usually comes lose from the weight of the door. If you press on the plate, it resets the code. So I have to get the key, reset the code, and hope I open and close it more gently next time. Very frustrating. But I got what I paid for.

This safe is great for the selling price and is quite durable. One of the best features that come with it is that it gives you the option to open it with a key and code. This comes in handy if your forgetful like me and lose the key or code, and don't have access to your valuables. Installing the code is quite easy and comes with its own battery so no worries there. It is very easy to use and the size makes it easy to install/carry anywhere.

Set up was fast and easy!! The safe includes bolts for mounting, and the instructions are direct and easy to understand (but when programming a code, input your code then push the "c" or "e" TWICE. This should confirm that the code has properly changed from the initial code. The door is thick and dense. My favorite thing about this safe is the 2 spare keys.. i like having the abilty to enter when needed, but batteries run out the 2 master keys included** offers a backup. Your able to enter regardless if the batteries are malfunctioning or you may have forgotten the code.I think this will be great to mount in a hidden place (in a closet, wall, rafters etc).
