ORIGINAL: You always are a bit leery of being the first to buy something off of Amazon without any other reviews. Given that, I made the leap of faith and purchased this without much in the way of information other than a solid price point and a credible amount of information they provided in the item description.Upon receipt of the item, I found it be packed in a nice retail package with all items as described. Items seem to work well and without issue to this point. Will update if any issues arise.UPDATE: Product died within 1 month and just stopped working.

if you have a lifeproof case or something similar this will not fit.

Only giving the second star because I like the cord. Otherwise as soon as I received the charging port it charged once and then, the port didn't work any longer. Almost like it shorted.

Charg s very quickly . I just didn't like that it wasn't easy to plug in and out of the socket .

Stopped working after a month of having it. Sums up why it is only $5

So far so good, I have another 2.1 car charger and I can tell this one is definitely faster.

It didn't work. It's not worth going through all the trouble to return it.
