AT&T SIM Card, Compatible with Prepaid (GoPhone) and Postpaid AT&T Cellular Service (Universal, Triple Cut 3-in-1)

Have to return the SIM card as the phone is not supported anymore.

I needed a US phone number to use while living in Mexico. I wanted an area code from my home state and did not think I would get that, but it arrived in a timely way and when I went to register it online, it allowed me to select the state I wanted the service code to be from. I now have a fully functional ATT chip with a US number that works in Mexico and in the US! The only caution I would say is that for some reason it took a full 24 hours after I put the chip in and registered for me to actually get service and I do not know why. Also, one of the registration codes was not on the chip so I had to insert it in the phone and go through a process of looking it up, which was a bit annoying because normally both codes are on the chip itself. However, overall, once set up, definitely worth it. I would recommend this.

Did not work for me

Don't understand the negative reviews. People buy it with out knowing what they are buying or need to do. This sim card was used to change phones. I had an old phone that used the standard sim card. I had an existing pre-paid account. I used this sim card for a newer phone that required a different size. I cut out the new size and put it on the phone. I went to the AT&T pre-paid web site and updated my phone info. After that I restarted the phone and made a test call. It works. The sim card doesn't come with service. The sim card is free at the AT&T store but for less than $5 I got it home which is good during these covid-19 times to avoid going out for something not urgent.

This card did bring my old phone back to life, but be advised you must choose a monthly contract ranging from $ 30.00 - $ 60.00/per month. So it is not really a pay-as-you-go like other major network.

Finally got postpaid after a prepaid journey. Firstly, going through the postpaid activation website and phone support wanted nothing to do with this sim. Tried also calling local AT&T store to no avail. Ended up going to store in order to convert my account to postpaid.

Bought this sim card for Netgear’s Nighthawk mobile router, unlocked. Easy to install. I had some errors trying to set up the AT&T sim card account. The AT&T rep was very helpful completing the set-up for my prepaid account. The set up and sign in page was not the same for phones since I wanted a data only plan. Works perfectly!

Completely unusable. Only redeeming value of the whole order was that I got three sim card adapters I can use somewhere else. Oh and for all the people here saying just go to an AT&T store don't be so sure that they're going to give you a SIM card without activating an account there. At least where I live I couldn't get a SIM card in the AT&T store here without starting an account and letting them activate it in the store. Wouldn't sell me a "bring your own device" SIM card kit. For whatever reason -I don't know why. You can go to Walmart to get one for about $10 but if you do make sure you stand over them and make sure they scan it twice to activate it. Don't buy it online because they have been negligent in activating them and then you're stuck with a card that does nothing!
