I just wanted a pump for my hydroponic system to keep the water moving. It seems to be doing the job so far. I can hear the hum, but it's not annoyingly loud. The trickle of water pumping through the system is louder than it. The magnet is very powerful (it's held in its place by a magnet from outside the water tank). Like strong enough to hold the pump up through part of my hand powerful. As long as this doesn't give out on me, I'd say this was perfect for what I needed.

It is a bit loose in its cage so difficult to direct. It will not stay pointed where I put it. Others I have purchased do. Moved to 150 gallon with large plants to hide behind. I have it propped on the filter out take so it stays put. Does a great job of preventing dead zones in tank. Moves the water nicely. The blue a bit harder to hide than I had hoped. Need one for the 180 gallon but will opt to find a black one to attach behind the skimmer box. Need one that stays where it is pointed. Summary wont send it back as it works. Unlikely to purchase another as it is loose and obvious.

Works exactly as advertised. Makes a nice powerful wave on my 220 gallon tank. It really helps my tank stay oxygenated.

I bought this on February 22nd and I did not install it un 2 weeks ago because I knew I was moving and also I am handicap so there was no use in installing it because of my difficulties so once I moved I installed it and it worked for 2 weeks and it quit today so save your money and buy a top quality one

I bought several of this model and the dual head model. Both are terrible. I have 44 tanks up and churning and these are the worst quality I have ever bought, ever. They are very weak, that is when they work. I am constantly having to make sure they are even moving water. Sometimes they just stop for no reason. I have never left a negative review on Amazon but highly recommend buying something different. The 1 positive is the magnetic mount but unfortunately it will not fit any of my other wave makers. It's unfortunate as they were competitively priced but simply a cheapo bad product. Hope this helps someone.

I like that it does what it says, I read other reviews saying it stops working, but maybe someone didn’t properly clean it like it says in the manual/sheet. But we will see I guess

Loud noise and zero water movement. Not sure if they sent me a used product, I ordered new. It was delivered by car instead of your usual courier company like UPS.

Doesn’t even work. Doesn’t push any water at all. Complete trash product.

Originally bought this bc first one worked do great (and still working fine). This second one bught starts “clunking” when submerged in water. Works fine if partially submerged which is strange part to me.Wouldn’t recommend at all anymore.
