Excellent Package Overall - Best BDLC Designer Fan in the Indian market.
Writing this review after using the fan for 50 days. I bought this fan (Oak Wood finish - refer images) to replace my Crompton High Speed fan which had good air delivery but consumed a lot of power and would generate a significant amount of heat. My primary purpose to buy this fan was energy savings and aesthetic appeal. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about the air delivery of this fan yet I went ahead with the purchase. I ordered this fan on 2nd October 2020 and it was the delivered the next day. The packaging was good from Amazon as well as Atomberg. I installed the fan as soon as it was delivered. As soon as I switched on the fan, I was pleasantly surprised by the air delivery this fan had on offer. PROS: 1) Excellent Air Delivery There are 6 speed settings on the fan. The fan is adequately slow on the first speed and it's super fast on the 6th speed, no complaints whatsoever. I was amazed to find out that on the 6th speed the air delivery of this fan was far greater than that of my earlier Crompton High Speed fan. I could feel the air circulation in every corner of my 140sq ft room. That was really a pleasant surprise. 2) No Heat Generation The fan didn't generate any kind of heat since it is a BLDC fan. The fan is usually running 21 - 23 hours a day (from the last 20 days) in our bedroom and I did not have any problems with it. Zero heating even after the fan ran continuously for a period of 22 hours, it is really a beast. I sailed through the typical humid Mumbai October heat without feeling the heat due to this fan. Another point to add is that the air circulated by the fan is cooler as compared to other normal fans which come with normal AC motors which can attributed to the fact that there is no heat generated in BLDC fans. 3) Backup Option (Toggle Mode) In case you lose/misplace the remote, the toggle option comes as a savior where you can operate the fan using the power switch itself. You have to toggle the power switch multiple times. I see many people complaining about the remote problem what if remote is lost, they either don't own the product or maybe they haven't read the user guide provided in with the fan. Please note that the toggle option works even when you have switched off the fan from the remote. 4) Warranty Atomberg provides you 3 years warranty for this fan which is again great considering the fact that other manufacturers usually offer 2 years warranty (there are a few exceptions through but they are priced higher). 5) Aesthetics This beautiful fan is really a head turner, almost everyone who visited my house asked me about the fan. It is one of the best looking fans in the market. 6) Value For Money A lot of people would be surprised that how is this fan VFM since it's expensive, but all BLDC fans are expensive. Atomberg is offering a designer fan with great performance and the best of features. Considering the features offered by this fan and the technology used, this is undoubtedly a value for money product. Plus it reduces your electricity bills in the long run. 7) Attention to detail There are small things which have been taken care of by Atomberg like the paper packing where blades are attached to the motor to dampen out the vibrations from blades, screws on the canopies to ensure they don't slide down/up along the rod (We live on the 9th floor, so there is a lot of air coming in from the windows, my old Crompton fan's canopy used to slide down a few mm from the ceiling which impacted it's air delivery, I had to adjust it once in a week, no such issues with Atomberg fan). Cons 1) Not Anti-Dust Although Atomberg claims this to be an anti dust fan but it does gather a some amount of dust and you have to clean it atleast once in a month or two. Atomberg can improve in this regard. 2) Remote The remote is a really good & compact one but I personally think that you have to point directly at the fan for the remote to work. I really don't know whether this is really an issue or maybe the AAA batteries may have less charge left in them. I never thought that an Indian company could provide such a great product. Atomberg has changed my perspective about Indian companies. Kudos Atomberg, come up with more such products in the future. Good job with this one. I would definitely suggest you to buy this fan without any second thought if it fits your budget.

Awestruck, then pleasantly surprised, go for it, don't expect service support!
Original Review 3rd March '21: The first impression after unpacking this fan was incredulousness, the main body of the motor housing was so small compared to my other fans I wondered if the motor had power enough to do the job. Secondly, the blades seemed too light & narrow, I doubted if it'll be able to deliver what it is supposed to, probably it'll wobble too much. Thirdly, the outer cover was translucent acrylic, so the internal PCB with the LEDs was clearly visible, didn't look very nice up close. I felt, perhaps the manufacturer could have left only a translucent circular window for the LEDs to shine through? But, after fitting it I was pleasantly surprised. The fan does wobble a trifle at the base speed but at higher speeds it is stable, because the hanging rod & motor assembly (centra column) altogether is heavy enough. Hence, it manages to maintain balance & deliver. The central motor housing actually looks pretty nice when you look at it from below, the cover is translucent enough to hide the internal circuit but let the LEDs shine through. Overall a nice balance of hide & seek. I liked the product & if it performs well for this season, I'm going to replace all 12 fans of my house with these. My advice for perspective customers, it's a nice product, go for it. Thanks Atomberg. Update 15th March 2021: My fan was installed on the 5th & on 8th it stopped responding to the remote. I logged a complaint with Atomberg through their website where they promise 48hr service. Till date I've received some phone calls from a service engineer who claims that a replacement PCB is awaited. Another service engineer visited my home who probably saw an Atomberg fan for the first time, he didn't even know the functions of the fan, I literally threw him out! Another lady called to tell me that she is going to schedule an engineer visit on Monday, which is over today. So that's Atomber service support promise for you.

Little Goliath
Atomberg Technologies started in 2014 and I brought their first model around four years back. It was a usual looking fan. Nothing special in the looks department. Compare to the then contemporaries, it was plain Jane. I brought it for the energy efficiency, and let me declare in all earnest that they have created a masterpiece. The energy efficient motor and the electronic circuit embedding their algorithm is nothing short of a technological leap for Indian customers. The first fan that I purchased is still running. I am a thoroughly satisfied customer. Their remote is built for the task. I was ridiculed by my friends and relatives for buying the said fan. But slowly it grew on them. They realized the value of it. Sometimes, when you energise it, it goes the other way a bit before it whirls clockwise. That caught attention of many. Second was the smooth start. That made the visitors to make eye contact for a bit long. At that moment I would eagerly inform them about the low wattage it consumed. So it went on. But in 2019, stuck by high power bill, I decided to replace some of my other fans with Gorilla fans. Went to their website and voila! There were new models. I immediately ordered two. Then one more. Again I was labeled crazy (by near and dear ones) for replacing the working fans (those which consume 70 to 90W) for no breakdown. But this time, the looks of Renessa+ made the first impact. I was taken aback when I took that motor out of the box. Itna chhota (so small)! Twisted it manually and the LEDs lit up and danced. Immediately installed it. Following quality aspects made a mark: 1. The sturdiness of mounting brackets. 2. The finish of down rod. 3. The finish of canopies. 4. The design of the blades. 5. The cute remote (comes with batteries). Ran it for the first time and it was WOW! They have done it! It is a home run. The air delivery is really good (that's the primary job). Whenever I install such energy efficient equipment, I check the wattage. Gorilla fans are on the stated mark. Kudos! The LEDs double up as night lamp. One remote may be used for all the fans of same model. That’s an added advantage. With Renessa+, Gorilla fans have come out of the wilderness. The masterpiece of a hardware is now enclosed in a well crafted body. It can now take its rightful place in the main room of any house and declare its presence. They are the much awaited King Kongs who would slash the electricity bills. There is only one and only one serious drawback: Ten days after I purchased Renessa+, they launched another top of the line model. I felt cheated. I wanted better than the best. I will get it soon (after I dispose off the replaced fans). To the guys who created it – THANKS!

Good product, but excellent service
Note - I am an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer. You'll know why I gave 5 stars at the end I purchased the fan in March 2021, and am writing the review in Feb 2024. So yeah, I waited 3 years to accurately write the long-term usage review. It worked well for the initial 2 months, but some weird noise started coming at no.4 and no.5 speeds. Complained about it instead of checking it myself cuz it was under a 3-year warranty. They sent a technician, who opened the motor-coil assembly and did something (mostly cleaning) that fixed the noise issue. I noticed a bent washer in one of the joints but did not say anything cuz the noise was gone. But as I expected, the noise showed up again after about 3 months. I called the support again, and this time the technician accurately located the error. I appreciate this one because instead of taking a long time to fix it, he replaced the washer and the motor coil assembly. I checked it by myself and found no physical or visible error. The fan did not make those weird noises for a long time now. However, the company CEO or Owner or maybe some high-ranking dude sent an apology letter and an email that I never expected. It was a great gesture. However, a new issue started showing up where the fan could not catch up to speed beyond no.4, and that too during peak summers in 2023. I checked the warranty and called them up again. The technician followed the general protocols of rebooting the fan's software if there was a technical soft glitch. Thankfully it was gone within seconds. Till now it has been working well. But 2024 summers are coming so I hope the thing continues working well. Last note - I appreciate the entrepreneurship spirit of India's young boys. I faced so many issues cuz being an engineer myself, I understand that R&D takes time and we learn from mistakes. I will support the company cuz they admitted the issues, and fixed them, and I'm sure they are keeping a record of all these problems for future R&D purposes to make their products even better. Wishing luck to the company and hope that they increase their scale of manufacturing in India from scratch gradually over time, just in case they are importing chip-level components from PRC, like many other companies, which I understand.

Totally Unreliable
I had Purchased 7 fans on Jan'22. Within 5 months 1 fan automatically started reducing speed from 6 speed to 5 or from 5 speed to 4 etc. Technician came and replaced some parts inside of fan. Then within next 3 months another 2 fans started giving same type of problem like either speed will slow down like from speed 6 it will automatically come down to 5, or from 5 it will come down to 4 by itself or fan speed will keep on fluctuating by itself rapidly. Technician came and replaced some parts of these fans as well. Then within next month 2 more started having same problem. Then the repaired ones also started giving same problem plus another new problem started like some of the led lights in some fans stopped working. Again call logged and technicians came and repaired or replaced some parts free of cost. Its been 2 and half years now, and I must have called technicians numerous times for some problem or the other for 5 fans continuously. Everytime they come, will do some repair or change some parts but then after a month or so same or some new problem will appear. Some months back they could not repair 3 of my fans anymore because even after replacing new parts and even after replacing internal circuit the problemndis not go. So they finally decided to give me 3 new fans and I had to stay with these defective speed fluctuating slow moving fans for almost 7 or 10 days before the new fans were delivered and installed by them. One week back my 6th fan had started giving this same problem of fan speed fluctuating. As long as warranty is there they will do free of cost servicing/repair, but once warranty gets over than recurring repair cost for atleast 3 to 4 times a year per fan will start. Regretting buying 7 fans. Its highly unreliable and unstable. Today another fan has started fluctuating speed. Have uploaded video. Another thing, these fans do catch dust but may b little less than normal fans, but its incorrect advertisement that they do not catch dust. Zoomed picture uploaded of fan with dust accumulation in 3 to 4 months. Positive: Air flow is good. It has some minor reduction on elec bill but nothing mind bogling. But once warranty is over repair cost will surpass the amount saved in elec bill. Overall recomendation : Will not recomend at all. Had recomended these fans to a friend long back, but they also faced the same problem and its so embarrassing cause they also got about 4 or 5 fans for their new flat based on my recomendation.

A good product with promise! One can surely buy this.
The fan has been in use for just a little over a month. Mostly, I have been very happy with this product. Here are some observations: A. The positives: 1- it's super easy to install, as there are just two wires (phase in, neutral out) to handle in the motor, and the rest of the process is illustrated stepwise and diagrammatically on the package box as well as the instruction manual. 2- The precautions being asked by the manufacturer MUST be adhered to for the best performance from the product. Three things are asked clearly: •bypassing the usual external speed-regulator fixed on the switchboard. (The fan has it's own advanced speed control inside the motor assembly, it needs full power input at all times to function normally, it is still designed to consume less than half the power of a conventional ceiling fan.) • fixing of the fan's down-pipe ceiling-end assembly directly and firmly to the ceiling, without any intervening 'S' type suspender, etc. • fixing of the fan has to be firm, all nuts used need proper tightening (or it can be a safety hazard if any fan ran nuts!) 3- the functions work just as claimed by the manufacturer, and they are a clear value-addition to this fan. The remote control is super; Innovative LED function as a fx. indicator and night light is neat (like many other users have already noticed, it would be great if they changed the hue to yellow-lamp one in night-light mode, this will be a slick utility addition to the product); timer is again a great utility and so is the sleep fx. specially in colder regions or such areas/weather where temperature drops after midnight. Antidust paint does help somewhat. After a month there is just a little hint of dust on the edges of the blades (again regular cleaning has to be done as per directions of the manufacturer for product life and performance) 4- Mostly, if the fan works perfectly, the only noise audible is that of the shearing and driving of air down as it revolves. So it's motor makes no humm that's audible on the ground. Just the air being channelled through the blades, can be heard. And that sound will increase as the speed will increase. If a room has echo effect in it, it may sound a bit high. So, the fan motor in and of itself, does not seem to be making noise. 5- the circuitry operating voltage range is also great, which is really a plus if one lives in poorly regulated inline voltage with frequent fluctuations. It works fluently while everything around stutters to the whims of those unpredictable and uncontrollable changes. 6- the fan speeds are very properly scaled. That alone will make it so useful in most parts of India where celing fan is required (that means everywhere nowadays, even in Himalayan regions!) 7. Airflow is just great. Another careful design change to the blades can widen it further outward. Presently, its strong vertically underneath the motor, and moving away from the range of the blade, there is a palpable drop in air flow. This happens in most fans. There is air at the edges of the room to be comfortable, but one wishes it were more. So it's about taking the same the airflow and rendering the distribution directionally even. It's still great as it is. And I think the next version of this fan will only optimise the radial flow coming out of the edges. (To address both the air flow noise and radial-out air-flow towards the edges, considering a 1400mm blade version may help. It will take down rpm to reduce airthrow noise while retaining/bettering the airflow volume but will also provide more blade surface area to work with air flow distribution profile. Just a thought.) 8. It's design is novel! Very few fans will come close to it there as well. Overall, on the positive side this is a good value product. And more value can still be added to it. So there is a future surity built into the concept of this fan which makes the purchase really worthwhile. Kudos to the Atomberg team for creating such sleek and slick beauty! B. Now that this is a sure fire winner, let's look at aspects to work on: i. The 'click' sound being reported is gradually noticable on my unit as well, and there is also a vibrating/fluttering sound from the blades. I suspect the 'rivets' on the blades need another look. Especially as there is a slight wobble no matter how good the fix to the ceiling is. So that is a worry as it unnecessarily confuses many users on an otherwise great product. ii. The website needs to show product purchases made from any site as soon as a user registers for an Atomberg a/c and provides a legitimate unit-number no matter what source it was purchased from. That will be the best professional practice. If there is a genuine proof of purchase recognised by Atomberg, then that unit's purchase upon creating an a/c on website and registering the serial no. needs to be acknowledged in the users Atomberg product ownership page. iii. I haven't yet asked for customer care assistance but this is again a worry till now. How to get the issued resolved locally. There's a customer care number. But how will actual support be provided at my location, it still has to be looked into. I am keeping best expectations from Atomberg. I think this product is a winner. Now it's a matter of refining and enhancing its performance to perfection.

Bearing like Noise at low speeds below level 3
Renesa+ Fan looks stylish & premium.. Remote functions are very useful.. Consumes only around 5w at lowest speed of level 1.. Very energy efficient.. But fan used to make sound at low speeds and it disturbed the sleep at night.. Initially i thought it was a bearing noise but after reading some reviews I decided to move the safety pin location above the top canopy & hook.. It worked and abnormal sound at slow speeds almost disappeared.. But some minor occasional wire touching sound appears, but it doesn't bother you really.. So liked the fan overall.. Remote is black without back light buttons and very problematic to see buttons at night without light.. So remote can be improved..
