Perfect for rusted flanges and new flooring
I've used these a lot in building maintenance and rental properties. Easily adjustable for putting in a toilet before you put down tile or sub-floor, so toilet can be used. I use the foam toilet rings so I don't have to mess with the wax until the final floor is installed. Don't lose the nuts down the pipe and I've had to grind down the sediment and rust on the inside of the pipe for fitment and that's always fun. I also lube the gasket and pvc with soap before install.

Perfect fix
My house was built in the 1920s. Cast iron pipe still in use. The previous owners installed tile flooring in the bathroom which meant the existing flange was nearly an inch below floor level. Not only did this bring it closer to floor level, it also tightened against the interior of the pipe. Cool design. Fit great inside my 4" cast iron waste pipe.

Make sure you bolt flange down to sub- floor
Replaced broken toilet flange this is an excellent product & it has allen wrench screws to tighten and snug against the existing pipeBut be sure to bolt flange to existing sub-floor before mounting toilet.

3.75" base
Writing the review to mention that the base is 3.75" in diameter. This is good because an old 4" ID cast iron pipe is going to have plenty of rust and scale inside the pipe that should be scraped off before installation, but which still leaves the ID less than 4". Plastic is nice and sturdy, and unlike old cast iron flanges, actually goes into the waste pipe instead of around it. Plenty of room for adjustment on the stem too, to get the proper toilet height. I think it's about 5.5 cm from the bottom of the flange to them top of the expanding rubber seal.

solved a problem
Secured the toilet to the lead down pipe in concrete floor with some straightening of the lead pipe. No leaks yet.

WHY IS THIS NOT STOCKED AT THE HARDWARE STORE?!?!
Same issue as previous people. 4" cast iron pipe surrounded in concrete. I wasn't fortunate enough to have a a cast iron flange (I assume the previous person didn't use it or it broke years ago. This bad boy fit PERFECTLY in and with some help of some tapcon concrete screws....I got "me-self a usable throne"

Exactly what was needed in our old house.
No leaks. Priced right. Works great. Exactly what we needed for our old house that ‘had’ an issue with the toilet seeping at the flange to turn down septic line.

works great
This arrived late and was missing 1 of the 3 screws to tighten the gasket. Need to work on quality control.
