Very helpful.
This textbook is well written. It breaks down MIS to the most simplistic of terms so that there isn't much confusion. The examples used reflect today's complex world. The chapters read easily and quickly. On top of this, Professor McKinney was one of my graduate professors and would remind you of Bill Nye, the Science guy. He was one of the most creative, cool, and well liked professors at Bowling Green State University. Most of my cohorts would also vouch for that.

Required for class, but easy to use
Not the most exciting material, but really clear explanations and well organized. Easy to read and understand with lots of relevant examples. Glad my professor chose this textbook. It wasn't too pricey either.

Didn’t need it
I never read a single chapter of this book and I excelled in my MIS class. This book is literally filled with common sense information. I’m not the brightest crayon in the box either so don’t go getting ideas that I must be super smart or something. So long as English is your first language I would recommend just borrowing it periodically from a friend in class or reading it at your university library and save yourself some much needed cash for other expenditures.
