Does the job
Had to pull a couple of 1/4" stainless rivets, tool did the job well. The cup to catch is a bonus.

Good tool
Just used it to fix one of my favorite lanterns. The battery terminal had corroded and fallen off, and I used a 3/32 pop rivet to replace it and contact the metal plate on the other side. Rivet gun is well made, feels solid, and has interchangeable tips for different rivet sizes. The rivet gun includes a holder for the interhchangeable tips and the wrench used to swap them. Good value, works well, recommended.

Easy to use, sturdy steel construction, good value.
Well made economical tool. The red "head" is machined aluminum. The bolts are grade 12.9 (high strength alloy steel). The remaining structural parts are steel. Arms are "U" formed steel 0.1" thick with a overall cross section of 0.77" x 0.63" and 10.5" long with dual durometer polymer handles. The black is softer with more grip. The knurled tension nut is threaded on and uses a set screw on a shaft flat to lock in place. Overall tool length is 13" with a mandrel installed. The 6 optional threaded mandrels are easy to change using the included tool. The rivnuts provided are aluminum. It would be nice if a drill size chart were included. I purchased 6mm 304 stainless rivnuts that require a 9mm hole. There is an adjustable stop for setting compression. However, there are no depth settings specified. It requires developing a "feel" of the handle force to get proper rivnut compression which depends on the gage of metal and the rivnut. You might start with the handles open to 90 degrees when rivnut compression begins. Then fully close the handles. I suggest doing a practice sample or two to get your set up right before committing to your important job. It worked nicely with the stainless inserts. It all packs in a handy carry case with outer dimensions 13 1/4 x 9 3/4 x 2 1/2".

Good pop riveter.
Work’s good. I wish they had different length rivets.

Requires up to three ‘bites’ before rivet pops
Overall this is a good riveter. However, most other rivet tools I’ve used will pop the rivet in a single grab or bite on the mandrel but no more than twice. This tool usually takes up to three grabs to pop the mandrel. The straight on configuration is useful over the traditional 90-degree rivet tools in many situations. The bottle to capture spent mandrels is convenient too. I bought this primarily to use with stainless steel rivets, which are much harder than steel, but so far have not used it with SS rivets so I can’t assess whether this tool’s teeth will withstand the hard SS mandrels.

Útil para muchos proyectos
Muy útil, solo se necesita entender como funciona, para no exceder la fuerza y lograr una ajuste preciso.

Not suitable for 10mm steel/stainless nuts
Likes. well constructed all metal design.. handy sturdy carry case. came with good assortment of mandrels. tested with 10mm aluminum nuts and it worked fineDislikes. handles are a bit short for leverage on larger nuts. felt tool would break if using stainless nuts greater then 6mm and 8mm for steel. occasionally mandrel would not release from the nut requiring disassembly of tool
