Northlight Set of 150 Shimmering Clear Mini Icicle Christmas Lights - White Wire

I used this product to replace bulbs on a tree with similar light bulbs these bulbs are very hard to find and I'm glad these icicle lights are a direct replacement. I'm sure they also look beautiful as icicle lights

Randon twinkle lights are tough to fine and too often they tend to flash rather than have a truly spuratic sparkle. These lights met the mark and now my white flocked tree with the burned out, non-functioning pre-strung lights, has come alive again thanks to this string of lights

These lights are perfect for me. I bought 2 sets (needed the length) to adorn my canopy over my bed. (Sounds over the top, but believe me, it's beautiful.) They have several modes of twinkling, ranging from a slow morphing of various lights to 2 other flashing modes, plus a constant-on mode which I leave it at. I really like the slow morphing mode, but part of its cycle is to be off completely for a second or two, and I don't like it completely off, otherwise that'd be my preferred mode instead. One string had a loose bulb which caused about 1/4 of the bulbs to be off, and I was gonna return it, but miraculously and accidentally, really, I handled the loose one, and fiddled with it and all the rest of the bulbs went on. So I just marked it with some tape in case I need to change it in the future. (Much simpler than repackaging and returning it, etc.) So, on the whole, this is working great for me. Very happy with purchase! Would be so thrilled if the slow-morphing light cycle was to my way of liking, but that's just my own preference.

I bought two kinds of shimmering /twinkle icicle lights last Christmas and these were by far the best ones . So I bought even more this year . They are so pretty . They don't flash on and off busily like a lot of Icicle lights . Instead of that, they have just a few lights randomly flashing on the line , while simultaneously the others on the line stay lit and solid . So it is a more subtle , attractive shimmering affect overall . It's classy and looks nice . I highly recommend these lights .Update : Dec 2017 . So these lights (about 12 sets) are going strong now after 3 Christmas seasons . And I havent been gentle on them. Two sets have partial black out and I'm not technical so I'm not sure how to fix that . I am going to order some more sets so I always have enough working ones for the upcoming years . I read some poor reviews and I'm surprised , because my experience has been only positive . And I I still really do like the "shimmer" effect that looks like falling snow to me .

I ordered this and we ran out of lights for the space. So naturally, I clicked "Buy again" to get more. What I got was icicle lights of another brand. It came in just a plain cardboard box and looks completely different. Being so close to Christmas, I do not have time to contest it and send it back and pray I get the same lights as my original purchased. The lights that I got the first time were great, its box is the same as the photo shown on the page to buy it. Just be sure and order all you need at once because you may get something different the next time. I spent $160 on friggin lights for my house and its going to look mismatched. The new lights have some kind of switch on the wire, we will figure this out later but since it goes up by our roof, its not something we are going to be able to reach up and switch.TLDR: I like the lights it advertises but you may not get those lights every time.

Twinkling lights are very pretty, warm white light. My only complaint is they are very heavy. Twinkle options require extra-wiring which makes them a bit akward to hang up. Make sure you have sturdy way to hang them up.

Great product. Just wish the bulls were LED for a clumsy person like me. I already broke one bulb putting it up, but they do come with a few replacement bulbs so they have that covered too.

the shimmer is a very slight pulsating of all lights to a little darker. Then back to normal. If you stand back, you don't notice it. But I notice mine shimmering more than I would have liked. Other light bulb turn on & off. A little too showy for me. The outlet port to link multiple strands together are the same size.
