I had bought a cheap one from one of the big box store which didn't last but maybe a month because it was plastic, so I looked online and found this one which is much more substantial and very easy to install and works like a charm. If I need another, I will order this one again. And it was very reasonable in price.

This handle is better than the one that came with the toilet. My first impression was that the arm and nut hardware were metal, and much more durable than the plastic nut that it replaced. Although the handle is chromed plastic, it appears to be of better quality and a good value. FYI: the original handle was also chromed plastic. Installation took less than a minute. Fixing the part in place is intuitive. Just remember to tighten the nut, screw counter clockwise while handle is facing forward. The threading is in the opposite of what you’d expect. An included chain is the only thing that would make me happier with this purchase. Overall, I’m very pleased.

Maybe I have a slightly older toilet, because the square hole in my toilet was juuuust nearly too small for this thing to fit. It had to be installed at an angle, which of course puts a skewed force along the toilet wall tank because the bolt isn't flush against the toilet tank wall. Also, I had trouble because the lever arm would hit the top of the tank, making it not flush completely. I eventually got it all working, but I'm hoping it doesn't cause my toilet tank to crack over time, since I've installed it at an angle and the bolt isn't making flush contact with the wall. Other than the issues with the fit, it looks great and seems well-made.

This was a more robust replacement for when my original flusher arm broke. The original arm was plastic and finally gave up the ghost. I ordered this one and it installed easily. Make note that these are left handed threads when removing the old one to ensure you don't accidently overtighten and potentially crack the tank. I did have to slightly bend the arm down to accommodate the shorter chain on the OEM setup. Works great and had it delivered the next day.

The flush mechanism on our toilet broke down a while back. I replaced it with one that the handle matched the handles on the sinks. White porcelain handle. It was a more complex mechanism than the original plastic one. However, it had a pivot point that would not stay tight and it finally broke off at the handle. I replaced it with this one because of price. An original was four times the price of this one. So, if something happens to this one, I can buy four more replacements, The toilet tank is curved, so it took some careful bending of the rod, but it is nice an solid and flushes better than before. Happy with the results. Highly recommend, if you want to save some money.

Not universal. The product itself is all metal and very sturdy. It did fit the square hole in the front of my tank. However, The lever did not fit (match up) with the inside flush mechanism. I had to add two sets of double bends to the metal rod. First added a downward bend, then an upward bend. Second, added a backward bend, then a forward bend. It took 6 days to arrive; and the shipment tracking was very inaccurate.

Shipping was super fast. It's a good little part for the price because it's all metal - which is very durable and long-lasting! All you do is undo the little chain which leads to the rubber cover which traps water in the tank. Then loosen the old part, taking the nut all the way off. (I used a pair of channel locks, but a good pair of pliers will do just as well.) Tighten the new part so that the handle remains in the horizontal position. The attached lever will be angled downward somewhat. Attach the chain, making sure it's neither too loose nor too tight. (If it's too tight, then the rubber piece won't seat over the hole properly - and the tank will never fill up.) Flush once to check for proper installation. When pressing the handle down, the lever should be horizontal with the tank while the rubber "hole cover" is up, allowing water to leave the tank. And it should remain up as the water level continues to diminish, seating once again over the hole after nearly all of the water has left the tank. [GLUG, GLUG, GLUG!] Now, the lever should be angled downward again. Once the hole is "plugged again", water should enter from the supply line to fill the tank. When the level is correct (which may also be adjusted according to what apparatus you have) the water will shut off --- and you're ready for the next successful flush. I didn't even have to turn off the water supply to install the new part. It works like a charm!

Worked very well! It's durable and it is not hard to install (Had to watch a YouTube video on how to install it but the process was easy and simple). So far it works very well! Highly recommend it!

It has metal pieces. It is simple and fits easily as it is thin and narrow. Basically, it works great.
