Zim's Crack Creme, Original Liquid Formula, 2 Ounce

I have suffered from Psoriasis for ten years and now understand the old ad campaign slogan, "The heartbreak of Psoriasis". My legs, upper back and lower back are in horrible shape to the point of being very painful: the spray of the shower stings like bees; at times socks hurt my legs. As I searched for a remedy for the psoriasis, I came across many products that didn't even touch it, including prescription ointments. Nothing worked. I tried a biologic (I also have psoriatic arthritis) but the infusions sent me to the hospital with liver failure. I was going through my medicine chest a few days back, throwing away old odds and ends, when I chanced upon Zim's Crack Creme. I remembered it from several years ago. My heels and the cuticles of my feet would crack as would the skin and cuticles on my hands. I figured that I may as well try it - what the heck, my condition was worsening and worsening every day. It's working! Whereas my left leg was very dry, my right leg showed large, angry, red patches. The same formed on my upper and lower back. I was extremely upset; it was good to be alive, but bad to have an old enemy return. I grabbed the tube, began using it immediately and prayed. To date, about three days later, my left leg actually has a sheen on it and parts of the skin are baby soft. The lesions are disappearing on my right leg and beginning to disappear on my upper and lower back. I'm so relieved, so grateful and so happy about this result. Why the stores stopped carrying it, I don't know. Maybe because they knew that it is so great, people may not buy their brand, whatever. It works, the pain and itching are dissipating and I'm actually sleeping through the night. I'm so glad and grateful that I found it here. There is one negative, however. I'm running out! I decided to give this a try after reading about this product on The People's Pharmacy to look for a solution to cracked fingertips. This really does work! It's actually a spray, and I think it will last a while since not much is needed at a time. I spray it on my heels. the palms of my hands, and in the process of rubbing it in spread it on my fingertips. The results have been instant! After a week or so of use, I have not had any more painfully split fingertips - HOORAY! And there is a very noticeable difference on my heels, and the rough skin on my hands went away after using it only once! The product is a non-greasy liquid with a light pleasant smell - kind of like cloves. How refreshing to come across a product that lives up to its claims!

I tried this years ago for cracks around my fingers especially during the winter season. For reasons unknown to me it was no longer available at my local drugstores. As such, I tried Zim's crack creme in the lotion format. It was alright, but, it did not do as good a job as the original liquid formulation. I am so pleased to find it again through Amazon. The scent is a bit strong yet not overpowering. It is very concentrated so a little goes a long way. My one complaint is that it feels sort of air tight once on the skin. I found that instead of applying it before bedtime, when I like my feet exposed to air, it would work better for me to apply before putting on socks/shoes in the day hours. That temporary heaviness on my feet doesn't bother me when I have a million other things to do. The stuff works on cracks and dry skin within 24 to 48 hours. Love it.

I have always used Zim's in the past to get me through the Northern winters. I have not needed it since moving to GA. That is until I started working in a chemical plant. The agents I come in contact with dry out my hands worst than a Yankee Winter. This product works to repair and prevent painful fingertip cracks. The aroma that some mention is clove. It's not that bad. Smells like you just finished a ham sandwich.

Zim's Crack Crème is the ONLY product that has healed my painful, cracked finger-tips. What I like about it is that you can put it on at bed time and the next morning your fingers are noticeably less sore. In a couple or so days, using the product, they are healed. I use this product at night mostly because it is a little oily, but I use their daytime cream during the day (it is not oily, but creamy like lotion). THIS IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCT and this is the second year I have used it.

This is the very first Amazon review I have written, I am so pleased with the results of this product I have to let others know! I have had thick calluses on my heels that split into painful fissures for the last three years. I have spent hundreds of dollars on going to podiatrists, dermatologists, and buying all kinds of products, with very little results. This ACTUALLY WORKS! It is more like a liquid that you simply apply to the skin and the calluses are almost gone (after 3 weeks) and no painful splitting! It has a pleasant scent that reminds me of cloves. I would highly recommend this product!

OK, after reading many good reviews I decided to try this and NOT the day creme that is supposed to be worthless the reviews said. 1st of all this is NOT a creme in any way shape or form. It is a spray bottle that is just a bid hard to spray a tiny bit onto those cracks on my fingertips or other paper type cuts. So I waste a lot when spraying and get it all over. It drys tacky in a few minutes and covers but you need several applications per day if you wash your hands at all. I have been given some creme from the dermatologist that is also ok and it does feel good. For me though, I will use what I have for years: New-Skin Liquid Bandage, First Aid Liquid Antiseptic. A 1 Ounce Bottle on amazon sells for less than $7.00. This stuff if you never tried it is antiseptic and you paint on like nail polish so it FILLS IN the cut. I put a couple of applications and am usually good until the evening when I will try to redo it. For me New-Skin works much better.
