I have a 2 1/2-year-old super rambunctious aggressive German Shepherd chewer with razor-sharp teeth who LOVES all her toys but she gets bored with them easily. Her absolute favorites are those with one or more squeakers and that is why I ordered this (because it was tough and good for the teeth AND HAD A SQUEAKER).So it is great for her teeth (when she has it) and a great color blue but it won't squeak for her. Unless you take it and squeeze it really really really hard it will squeak. I have a 350 lb power wheelchair and with me in it it is 500 lbs but even I can't get it to squeak by running over it. I can use all my might and my caregiver (who is very strong) squeezes it and it will squeak a little bit but I am extremely disappointed that it will not squeak for my very aggressive German Shepherd who wants a squeaky toy. :-(I have found only one other product (made of material with 4 squeakers) that is half the price of this and she has had it for 6 months playing tug of war with it (very hard because she is 75 lbs and STRONG) over and over and over again and with her chewing on it when she is just playing with it... it is still intact and is her favorite because it squeaks, squeaks, squeaks!Even though other reviewers have sent in their videos... it shows their dogs walking or running with it or laying down and chewing on it... I don't hear any squeaks. That is the reason I am giving it a rating of only 3.

My Boykin aka destroykin was blowing through chew toys and balls. One of these lasted a year between him and two labs. It is my dog’s favorite thing next to me. He will not put it down, unless food is offered.

Durability

My Great Dane LOVES this toy/stick. He usually destroys the squeak in a toy in the first hour or two. It's been 3 days and this toy is still squeaking strong. (Yay?) My dog is not an excessively strong chewer, though. So, keep that in mind. There's no toy that is perfect for every dog.My dog also like the mouth feel. The various textures/knobs on the stick seem to be just right for him - not too much or too little.UPDATE: My dog never tired of the toy, playing with it 1-3 times a week. Interestingly enough, the squeeker never failed, but the plastic did develop cracks over time/a few months. Seemed more like age cracks than problems from my dog's teeth--though I can't be sure. At one point, I grabbed one end of the toy while my dog had the other end in his mouth, and it broke in half. My dog liked the toy enough that despite that failure, I bought more.

Bought this for my 9 month old boxer mix pup and within minutes he was pulling the little rubber numbs off and eating them. Do not recommend especially if you have a dog who is an aggressive chewer.

Update September 1st, 2019. My Golden has played with this toy nearly every day. We play fetch and tug o war and he will just chew on it sometimes. While the squeaker is worn out, or maybe just dirty, this toy is still going strong!I have a Golden Retriever who destroys almost any "indestructible" toy that I have given him. And if it has a squeaker in it, they usually last for a matter of minutes. I was not happy to discover this toy has a squeaker, but it was my fault for not reading the description clearly. So, I assumed it would be dead and the money wasted.However, to my surprise, this toy has lasted for weeks! It has been my dogs favorite toy, he has chewed and gnawed on it. He has tried to get the squeaker out, but somehow he is yet to cause this toy any harm, and I am really impressed with this toy!

Stretches nicely and is thick. My dog chews everything apart usually with minutes... It took him 2 nights to rip this apart. This is the second time we buy it and we'll be buying another one soon since it keeps him occupied. Similar to the same time it takes for him to eat a raw hide chew but he doesn't eat this so no calories!

A mi cachorra de border collie le ha flipado este juguete. Le encantan los palos, pero no queremos que juegue con ellos por el peligro que conyevan. Este juguete ha sido el sustituto perfecto, le encanta. Aún siendo cachorra le compré el tamaño L y le va bien. He leído que algunos perros lo han destrozado en cuestión de días, decir que a mi perra de lo dejamos en casa para que lo utilice de mordedor, y muchos perros en el parque lo han probado para lo mismo, y sigue como el primer día, intacto. Después de buscar y probar un montón de juguetes, para nosotras este ha sido de 10.
