Nice item, fairly easy to install.

Worse yet, I had to go back under this ...
I paid over $200 for a valve with a plastic escutcheon - cover plate? Worse yet, I had to go back under this escutcheon to correct some grout, and it is impossible to remove it without leaving marks in the plastic rim because it is pressed into place (no screws)! This cover has four locking tabs pressed into another plastic plate underneath. You have pry so hard that you think the thin plastic is going to break! They should supply three or four plates just in case...When this plastic gets old, those teeth and the whole plate will break off, but the valve and parts will no doubt be NLA. Going this direction, Grohe might not be in business anyway. I don't care if it's made in Mexico. I just expected better from Grohe. Their tub spout flew apart because of plastic parts also!
