I purchased two used ipods and needed the older lightning cable. The first one I purchased was 18 dollars at bestbuy and it was a cheap flimsy cable. Due to the high price I returned it and then purchased a set of 2 cables on amazon for around the same price as these(8 dollars) and one of the cables did not fit and they were overall cheap quality.These cables snugly fit and they have a cloth coating so they are soft and you get 2 in the package. The quality overall appears to be good. If you have two ipods you will have a cable for both or if you have one keep the additional cable as a back-up. Considering the quality and price it's a great deal.

The cables seemed fine; worked well for several plays (probably 8 - 10). Then, nothing. OK, I guess my iPod went looney. It took me awhile to figure it out (still really haven't yet), but tried someone else's unit, and they work fine. My apologies.

I bought these to replace an Apple cable the cat destroyed. Initial impression is that the connectors feel sturdy, the nylon cord cover feels a little soft. However, the iPod did not register power when plugged into the 10 port USB charger I was using. After checking both of these, then the new Apple cable ... none of them (not even the Apple cable) worked with the charger.A little more investigating indicates that the cables are fine, but the charger doesn't get along with the iPod, which I, apparently, never previously tested. So, I'm buying a couple of Apple's overpriced, 5W wallwarts to solve my charging concerns, and using these cables in hopes that the cat will find them less appetizing.

This item was delivered sooner than expected. It came packaged nicely and there were two cables. The cords are very well made and a good length at slightly over 3' long. I have an older i-Pod and i-Pad they are still working perfectly. I just needed the cords for use in my vehicle, and when traveling. They fit perfectly into both devices, with a nice snug fit. No problems inserting or removing the plugs from both devices. They charged my devices very quickly. Well worth the money spent.

I like the Durability, Sturdiness and the Value of getting two cords for the price of just one cord. I'm using these cords for my old 32gb IPod, one in the vehicle and the other at home. Would definitely recommend this product.

Basically was looking for additional cord(s). This one a great, it is used to charge my iPod Classic in the house and to sync up in the car to listen to the music. Works GREAT

I bought these to use with my IPad 2 because my cat ate my original charging cord. The braided cord is a great touch (my cat can't chew through it). But it doesn't make a great connection to the device. The cords are also extremely short. After a few uses, they started cutting in and out while charging. Good if you need one short term, but don't recommend as a long term replacement.

I have older Apple devices. These cords are well made, fit properly, and charge the devices. Not like some where you have to wiggle them to get it to charge.
