It’s a great comb for combing my cat but needed to get out a mat and only way that worked was using a furminator holding hair so would not pull

The smaller tines on the comb are so much better than the bigger ones on the current comb I was using.Having had 3 shelties, the knots behind the ears seems to come with the breed.We are 7 months into our new puppy and it didn't take long for them to form.This will be a good everyday maintenance comb to stay ahead of the knarley issues.

We have two shelties who like to play rough and tumble and chew on each other's ears. I use this brush almost daily to help get out the knots that form. It's worked really well. I do encourage you to hold the hair at the base and not just tug forcefully because that will hurt them.

It's good and sturdy. I am doing some painting on my house and found that my comb would do a pretty good job getting paint out of the brush but wasn't stiff enough. I checked in the painting supplies but they had some ridiculous type 'combs'. I remembered my mom had a steel comb for her cat so I looked up in this CATagory (LOL) and found these. I really like the closeness of the teeth but they don't seem quite long enough for larger brushes. I got the double sided comb also that have teeth the right length but are wider spaced so only works if paint is pretty well caked on brush. Should try cross advertising in painting. best comb set by far for that.

Recommended by our dog groomer, we purchased this and find that it combs through smoothly and is easier to use. Our curly Maltipoo likes it also!

I like the size of the teeth but the comb teeth are too short.

Very well built but I wish the teeth were closer together. I think it's meant more for a dog than a cat.
