I love the them and love the tough look they stand out easy to find on my mess desk
Well made. middle price range for a rugged flash drive As a Graphic designer, I back up my work obsessively. And while I back it up in several different locations in different ways, this Gorilla Drive has been an excellent choice for when I need to take my work outside of the house. It's sturdy - even rugged - and I've never yet had one corrupt my files. There's plenty of storage space, and the price is comparable to other, less well-built brands. Overall, I will definitely continue to buy my flash drives from Gorilla Drive!

Very durable
Only brand I would recommend to pepel that want to have a drive on hand at all times I have yet to brake or damage it.Only thing I have done is lost the cover but they sell replacement ones at a good price

Water tight & safe
Dropped this into a puddle with lid completely on and no water got in. Drop didn't affect usage.

Great little drive! 1 issue I have is drive size isn't marked on it.
I bought several of their 64 and 256 drives. They look identical and I can't tell which size I have until it is plugged in. But appear really well made and has fast transfer speeds. I also like the physical size of the drives I have 1 of each on my keychain one for work and one for personal files.

Rugged Flash Drive but...
I have several of these drives. These are great USB drives for on-the-go. It is sturdy, easily fits on a keychain, but the cap comes off too easily. So far I've lost two caps out of three. I'm sure my wife will find it somewhere in the house or in the pocket of my jeans. Maybe it went to sock heaven by mistake with all those unmatched pair of socks. I gave it a 4 star rating for the cap because now it is exposed to the elements (pocket lint, fuzz, hairballs, nanobots).

My first go too
I have bought five of the Gorilla USB flash drives in the last few years and I have not once had any trouble with these devices. My number one go-to thumb drive.

Slow and Glitches while using USB 3.0
This product is absolutely horrible. The product uses a really cheap memory controller and memory chips. I was backing up files onto the drive using my computer's USB 3.0 slot, and it suddenly disconnected by itself. What I assume is the memory controller got too hot and it shut itself off. I do not have this problem when it's plugged into the USB 2.0 drive, but it's too slow, although that it to be expected. Although consider this: Even when it was transferring files through USB 3.0 I found the file transfer to be insanely slow. What's the point of having a rugged USB key when it's slow and it disconnects by itself while using USB 3.0? I bought a cheap Verbatim USB drive and that worked fine with USB 3.0. Slow, but fine.If you really want a good rugged USB Key, get a Corsair Survivor instead. That's actually made with good quality parts.
