I like the Olive Nation French Vanilla Extract but my size wasn’t available when I was ordering. But I saw the 8 oz ON French Vanilla "Fountain" flavor and thought “Gotta be good too.” Wellll, I wish I hadn’t. Won’t be ordering this instead of the Extract ever again.3 things: the odor is a bit bitter but ok, that could just be the hazelnut. But holy cow! The yellow color is waaaaay too much, tastes just like the flavor of artificial kids frosting, you know, that frosting that every adult scrapes off cake to avoid that sharp, bitter, saccharine, artificial bite.Still, when the Fountain flavor is diluted enough, the good vanilla flavors come through and the artificial-color taste is hardly noticeable, but 3. that yellow COLOR is just too much! Olive Nation should reformulate and cut the artificial color to 10 fold less, or drop it. Instead, caramel color and taste would be a good substitute.So since I opened this Fountain bottle and couldn’t/wouldn’t return it, I more or less fixed it. After adding a bunch of good vanilla extract, a gulp of French vanilla coffee syrup, and another gulp of home-made caramel syrup, it’s good enough. Still oddly yellow colored tho. I won’t make the mistake of buying Fountain vs Extract again.

Gives flavor to my cakes but I don’t like that it is so yellow in color that makes all of my cakes yellow.

This were bought for a cake client and the cake turned out great!

Why does there have to be such inconsistencies with products the orginal frencj vanilla I bought was brown and smelled like French vanilla. Second bottle is dark orange and I don't even know what this smells like. You have to be consistent this is not fair to your customer!

JUST GOT THIS,ONE WORD,[ JUCK], THE WORST TASTINGFRENCH VANILLA I HAVE EVER TASTED!!
