Good light, provides really good daylight wherever it is used, for a variety of crafts.However, having had it a while, the chrome covering over the bendy joint cracks leaving metallic splinters around.

A really stylish adjustable floor reading lamp at a very competitive price
We have been seeking white reading lamps for some time and have searched the internet and regional lighting shops only the be repeatedly disappointed. A neighbour recommended this Toby standing lamp and we were so impressed that we ordered two.They are easy to assemble, have a weighty base to prevent toppling and are readily adjustable. They have solved all of problems of winter reading, sewing and jigsaw making.Taking the price into account, alongside their stylish look and illumination, I would recommend this lamp highly. We have not had the lamps long enough to comment on the other reviewer's problem, 5/5.
