Messy Bun Hat Beanie (White) CC Quality Knit

Love love love this! My hair is so long and sometimes I just want to wear it up when it’s cold. Not only is it adorable but it’s super warm and fits great

I ordered the dark grey - got a light grey.The description says the hole at top is 3" - mine was 1" at best. Couldn't even get fingers through! The hat is small too - I think I was sent a child's size! There is absolutely NO stretch to the hole at the top!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hat! Leaving my hair down with winter hat and scarf is a miserable tangled mess. Not being able to wear a winter hat when my hair is up gets too chilly sometimes. This is the solution! Even if my hair is down for the day I will scoop it into a ponytail or looped ponytail through the hole of the hat, as the elastic is strong enough to hold my hair back loosely and keeps it from tangling against my scarf. Then take the hat off and your hair falls as if you were never wearing one. This is my third beanie from this brand and while the yarn is nothing special the quality is always great, the colors are amazing and they do the trick. The ponytail/bun hole in this version is one of the greatest innovations I’ve seen lately! Bravo!

This supposed “messy bun beanie” is awful!! I have thick hair, super thick and the hole is NOT stretchy enough. The material isn’t awful but i ordered a Dark Olive and the color i received is not like the picture. It is an ugly green brown mixture! I am not a happy camper at all. I am even more mad that I can’t use it, and now I have to pay to return it! I would NOT suggest this hat to anyone, just get one without the messy bun hole!!!

being one who is not a fan of hats, I must say I was skeptical of all the hype around this C.C. brand. OMG, it is amazingly comfortable! Not too snug and doesn't give you that itchy head feeling. I've worn it 8+ hours 4-5 times while running errands and doing house work.

Let me preface by saying: I typically wear a L/XL flexfit hat with my hair in a low bun so it doesnt effect the fit. This beanie is a perfect fit! Its not super snug like beanies usually are on me. Its long enough to cover my ears fully and still has plenty of room up top too! The pony tail hole I thought had a great scrunch to it. Not lose but enough give to squeeze over my messy bun. I’ll be ordering another one of these for sure!

This hat is awesome. I have a lot of hair and it fits through the “bun” opening easily. Hat is nice and warm too.

I'm a big fan of the CC brand and it's virtually impossible to find them in brick and mortar stores so I was excited to finally find the "messy bun beanie"! I've seen other reviews mentionng it's not tight, but for me, it is. The knot in the elastic around the hole popped through just by my trying it on. This was not due to the size, but a quality issue. Luckily, my mom is a seamstress and she sewed it in so this won't happen again. I'm hoping this hat will stretch the more I wear it. The color was accurate and it is darling.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The “messy bun” hole is the size of a dime. If your hair is thicker than a newborn baby’s it will bust the hat wide open. Don’t believe the fake reviews saying it’s “stretchy”. I put it on ONCE and it split like a melon. Now it’s essentially a neckwarmer. DO NOT BUY.

Hat arrived more than 2 weeks earlier! Definitely snug, but I have a small head (it can also fit my two year old). I can see how it won't fit people with medium or large size heads. I like the colour and texture. The ponytail hole can be made a little lower to give the hat more slouchy look (it's on the centre at top). The elastic around the hole can also be thicker to provide durability. Not sure how long that elastic will last. Cute hat!

The measurements of this womens hat is so small it wouldn't fit. It might fit a toddler. It's a beautiful hat and I was looking forward to the new colour but it's just way too small. There is also a defect at the top where the hole is for your hair. Too bad. I can't wear it.

I purchased 4 of these ‘messy bun’ hats as small gifts but got regular hats with no hole in the top (the main part required for a messy bun). I should have paid attention to the negative reviews. Contacted the seller and was offered 20% discount if I kept the hats. I wasn’t concerned with the cost - just wasn’t happy about the product being misrepresented. Wasted my time waiting over a month to get the order. Gave 2 stars (instead of 1) because the basic hat isn’t terrible. Just a pure pink color vs the mauvy pink color shown.

I ordered this hat in mint, but when I recieved it I got a blue one, which is not at all what I wantedAside from the color issue the hat fits well, I have pretty thick hair the hope for the ponytail/messy bun has a perfect amount of stretch to accommodate my thick hair, but I am still upset and annoyed that the color is way off! Blue is not mint, it isn't even close, so disappointed not sure if it's worth the risk to order it again in the right color
