Wonderful product
I bought this for my dad who is in a rehab unit. He lost the ability to move his hands, but is getting better now. I bought this because it straightened out his fingers and allowed him to exercise his hands in a way he wasn't able to do without the device. I think it must be the springs that make the difference. Anyway, he loved it so much, he showed his therapists and now they want to know where he got it. When I visit him, I like to use it too because it strengthens my hands for the piano. We have enjoyed this product together and it has made our lives better.

unfortunately, this didn't help extend my husband's fingers to allow him to work out his hand. the quality of construction was a little "homemade" looking. returned.

It works well but expensive
The splint itself is great! Does what it is supposed to, sometimes hard to put the finger cups over the fingers if contracture is severe. My husband is using this after a spinal cord injury and it has really helped open the fingers up. We have only had it about 3 days now and can tell a notable difference. Our OT says she thinks it is a good one so that is also a positive review. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I found the same splint for $61.99 without the additional items (which I don't feel are anywhere near worth an additional $20+) and really wish I would have looked further before ordering to save that additional money but we were desperate due to not getting any help from the doctor on ordering a splint through insurance. If you do not have insurance or very poor insurance, this is the splint for you but would get the one without the extras to save the $20+

Recovery Road
I purchased this product because my husband had a hemorrhagic stroke in March and his fingers have been very slow to get any movement. His Occupational Therapist thinks this is a great tool for him to use and I agree. However, if you'll look at the photos, the part that holds the fingers so they can pull against the weight have already torn and are coming off the spring. This occurred after only 2 - 30 minute sessions with the exerciser. Highly disappointing since for us it was an expensive for us with my income only.Update: 7/27/19I contacted Body Moves to ask about replacement tips for the hand exerciser and Kate contacted me right away. They responded by sending me a brand new hand exerciser even though I would have been very happy with just the fingertip replacement. My husband has been using the new exerciser daily and we have had no further issues. I have to believe at this point that several of the fingertips on the original were merely defective. I want to thank Kate and Body Moves for the unexpected and amazing customer care.

Would not buy again
It would be helpful if the instructions were in English. quote - (Wrist Rack can move Rotate Means it's fitfor right Hands Left hands, First training one hand Later change the other hand.) - unquote. Another instruction is - quote Aluminum alloy frame Longing time using Screw function: (Screw adjust Different Height of screl means "Different strengthen people use" saving cost)Misspellings and wrong punctuation are directly from the pamphlet. There are many othersFor the price I expect better from Amazon

great idea, poorly made
The idea of this device is great and does what it was made to do 5 stars there, , BUT it is poorly made. The webbing that holds the "caps" that go over the tips of the fingers will pull off of the cap. I stretched out the springs to lessen the tension but they still cut into the webbing. I think it was because the wire that is at the end of the spring is to thin. The part that the arm goes through is to short, and to thin. The edges of the frame cut into the arm. I made a pad bigger and thicker to use with it, so the 3 stars. I am sending this back and asking for a replacement and customize it before it is used..

Not fully adjustable to fit hand properly.
Returned, accessories were fine, but larger finger exerciser did not fit properly. Left bruises on my hand and did not and could not be adjudted to fit hand properly.
