Read update below first. I use ginger for nausea control and as a migraine abortive. Studies show ginger can be as effective as a script abortive. I make up what I call my rescue cup with this ginger, caffeine, fish oil, Tumeric, magnesium, l-citrulline, dl-phenylalanine, and l-theanine. I also take B-2, 100mg, four times a day.I initially gave this product five stars, but.......Update: 2-21. I'm not sure what has happened with this. The first two bottles appeared to be fine, but this third one causes me to be nauseated for hours and then I vomit violently in two or three bouts. I finally tracked it to this product, and since not taking it, I haven't vomited for several weeks. It had become an every night event for about five days, until I figured it out. When taking the first two bottles, I did have bouts of unexplained vomiting, but I was taking it more sporadically, so it didn't occur to me that it could be this ginger. Deathly afraid to take any more. I'm going to try a different brand. Removing stars.

I started to take this ginger when I read that ginger can help with joint pain. I had already taken Turmeric for quite a while with some success but adding the ginger has been a game changer. I am a 60 yr old woman, walking 5-6 miles a day trying to stay healthy and my knees were really complaining. I still have mild discomfort on some days but nothing like it was before the ginger. I highly recommend trying it. I picked this particular ginger because the material I read said to get "super critical extract" and this brand provides that. Good luck :)

Helps relieve joint inflammation.

The label gives only the amount for one dose but does not say how much is recommended for total daily dosage. And the Natural Nutra website does not list a phone number--just says "coming soon!" And the Submit button at the form for email questions just cycles you back to the form! All of this is poor business practice, very poor.

I got this natural nutria ultimate ginger in recently and I really like it.To explain the picture I regularly take supplements and I always brake open the capsule to test it when trying a new brand of any supplement . So the capsule on the right is my old brand of ginger and the capsule on the left is this brand(natural nutra)The first thing I noticed was how much lighter this brand is then the old one however when you look at the ingredients this brand has a lot of cellulase(milk) in it so I’m sure that’s the reason for the lighter color.I’ve eaten actual ginger root so I’m aware of what it taste like. It’s hard to really explain the taste I would say kind of a real stout peppery taste. So I try both of the powder that’s In them and my old brand has that taste but when I tried the natural nutra it has that taste and then so. It’s very potent to the point it almost took my breath away. I guess that’s why there in capsule form lol. So this stuff is the real deal.Overall Ginger is a great supplement to take and I’ll probably take it the rest of my life. This product is definitely quality and the capsules are easy to swallow. I would highly recommend these

A word of warning/caution: the product contains milk products, specifically cellulase. I do not know if this would affect anyone with lactose tolerance issues, but if you're vegan, this supplement is definitely off your list.I am impressed with the ingredients, though. Nice to see standardized extract of ginger (10% gingerols and pungent compounds), and even rosemary extract standardized to 6% carnosic acid.In general, I like the taste of ginger, so have never had any issues with ginger powder or supplements. So, there is no real difference between those and this supplement. They claim that the cellulase is added to reduce an digestive issues associated with the absorption of the ginger.My concern about this product is the product details mentions:"Since 1924, our manufacturing facility has promoted natural health and wellness with scientifically-based formulas and premium ingredients. Here’s why they are best in class: NPA Awarded Diamond Manufacture Organic products certified by the Quality Assurance International (QAI) GMP Certified before it was mandated Support Friend of the Sea and Fair Trade Organizations Member of the Natural Products Association and the Organic Trade Association "These are all laudable credentials. However, none of that is on the label. And there is no mention that this ginger is organic. I would expect, at the least, the GMP badge on the label especially if they implemented this process before it was mandated. Printing "Purity + Potency Guaranteed" is nice, but a bit vague.While I truly like the ingredients contained in this ginger supplement, the issue that certain certifications/safeguards are noted in the product details and omitted on the actual product is concerning and disappointing. That discrepancy warrants dings in the ratings. Accordingly, it rates a 3 star rating, with a moderate level recommendation.

I really like those ginger supplement a lot. The capsules are small and very easy to swallow. They start to work in about 15 minutes or so. These have definitely been helpful for upset stomach, inflammation and arthritis.
