We like it big enough for two people to do whatever it is that two people do in a camping hammock. A Company from the Heart of Utah Hammock gear from the Utah outdoors so you know it’s good. We are put our parachute hammock to the test. Extreme summer heat, freezing winter cold, and at least fifteen plus kids to make sure our hammocks will outlast all the competition. Don’t waste your money on a hammock just because they Photoshop a big animal into it, and get the name that you know is making great outdoor products. Great for tall big people!
Disclaimer: New hammock camper.I am a big guy, 6’5” and 265 lbs. I have laid in a couple of my boys hammocks and couldn’t get comfortable. I am not sure how long those hammocks were, probably 9-10 ft. This hammock is 11 ft, I slept comfortably in the Ridge Hammocks for two nights this past weekend. I was able to put a sleeping pad and lay diagonal. Matter of fact I could lay any way I wanted. I cannot comment on the longevity, but after the first weekend I am impressed.
