I bought this portable Steamer to help with my joint pains. I must say I got my money worth. Powerful piece of tool. My dad wants to build a sauna with this steam pot. Will post pictures soon !!!

The machine has to be plugged in and it requires tubing to allow the steam to flow through. When I used it the electrical cord is shorter than most, so you will probably need a 3-prong extension cord. Also, the tubing that it comes with is even shorter so the machine has to be very close to the tent you are using. Please be warned that once the machine starts steaming do NOT touch the tubing or have children around as it will burn you, it is EXTREMELY hot. I went to a large hardware store to buy more tubing and the size needed is difficult to find. Otherwise, this little thing makes massive steam. Good luck.

This is my second portable steamer. Same brand. I've had it for two years. I used it frequently. I'm going to try to follow the instructions to avoid rapid deterioration. Hopefully it will last longer.

I've had multiple steam pots over the years, and as far as producing steam for a steam tent, this thing works great!! However, i've only had it for just over 6 months, and as of yesterday it will no longer stay in heat mode. Goes in and out of work mode, so the water never really gets hot enough to boil and produce steam. While it worked, it was great, but at this point, needs replaced unfortunately. :-(
