Anjali Plastic Coconut Scrapper with Vacuum Base, White

This Anjali coconut scrapper is good one. The scrapper blades are good.. and we can get a bug coconut completely shredded in about 6 to 8 minutes.As a word of caution, In the begiining the Vacuum Base which holds the machine firmly to the surface will be good.. but later on it will start giving out. Once the Vacuum Base gives out, the entire machine becomes useless. Expecting this to last for about an year, ( at the rate of 4 coconuts per wk.)

The review is in the images. Good product, small and purposeful. But there are some cons- 1.The blades should be designed properly because the coconut is not that round to cover whole blade. As a result, the back portion of the blade is unused and by repeated use the frond part will blunt. 2. A brush should be provided to clean the adjancent blades. Overall, good product. Recommended for buying.

Pros :- Nice fitting base. The vacuum rubber works better on kitchen top.- Easy action. It scrapes well.Cons :- The exact round shape of blades prohibits it from reaching elliptical shaped coconuts. Had the blade been elliptical this could been added to the productivity and usage of the product.- One of the blade pieces got dislocated after a month. Anjali kitchenware were of no use and displayed irresponsible behaviour w.r.t making it good. I had to pay INR 40/- to a local utensil shop at Pune to get it welded. The unit is working good now. But this left a bitter experience about Anjali's quality.

Not workable. I wants to return it.

1. Short teeth will only scrape the surface of the coconut. Longer teeth are required to *bite* into the coconut and increase efficiency of the machine.2. As suggested by another purchaser, the shape of the head has to elliptical so that it can reach deep into the coconut.The machine is otherwise OK

This has been in my regular use since many yrs. .The previous only was good , only lately the vacuum stopped working . So I had to buy a new one . The last one lasted for nearly 5 yrs . We just have to remember not to soak the base in water. Just clean and wash the blades in water , that’s it !

Product is good and can buy

Got this for second time. Very easy to use and the grip holds for years.Previous one had used for more than 3 years which got damaged due to fall blades got seperated body still intact.Was surprised by the products studryness and overall ergonomics.Recommended for all using coconut daily in cooking.
